did it work earlier?

maybe firewall is blocking it? (I think that is the case)

and ultimately if You have version from here http://sokker.org/forum_topic/ID_forum/12246/ID_topic/3328684/pg/1 then it contains additional files for helping in diagnostics/problems etc. You can try it, user start.bat and check last_execution.log after closing SV, maybe there will be errors there which could point what exactly is the problem

My database is missing one week (28th of May). How can I edit files and add this weekend to all my players?

Ok I fixed it. Solution: Import XML folder by going into Sokker Viewer top right corner File -> Import XML file and pick folder from main XML in your sokkerviewer directory

My sokker viewer don't work , someone knows if it's some problem in general.... please

I recently did a laptop format and now I can't open Sokker Viewer (nothing happens after double click). I then tried downloading Sokker Viewer again (32 bit one) into a different folder and that's opening fine but that doesn't have my old data. Is there a way to fix this? I have the old Sokker Viewer folder intact.

So basically:
1) I installed new Sokker Viewer which is opening but doesn't have my old data.
2) I have previous Sokker Viewer as well which isn't opening but has my old data.

Ok, after reading through some of the previous posts, I downloaded the 64 bit Java version and now it's working fine! Apparently, my SK Viewer was 64 bit and I had previously just installed the 32 bit version of jre.

and if You didnt change login then copying directories xml/ and db/ should be enough to copy SV data from one to another

@Jose_Espitia_E
How the "don't work" part manifests itself? Care to share some screenshots or give more details?

Is there a way to do a simple copy paste of Sokker Viewer data in Excel?
2020-09-11 09:54:33
Perhaps, if you use a "xml to excel" tool. I have never made it, but it should be possible, but not easy with just copy paste...

not sure but maybe using SO as a "proxy" - import SV data to SO and export as csv if possible and then import in excel - but thats just guesswork (I simply dont remember export options in SO, if there are any)
surely, SV dont have proper option for this to do it directly from SV

I saw that error a couple of times but never occurred to me and I don't have working solution to this.

I can suggest network reconnect, java reinstall, SV reinstall or starting SV with parameter java.net.preferIPv4Stack set to true (but for the latter You would need to start SV from command line)

Anyway, if You want to try that last option then go to SV directory, open command-line terminal and try running SV with this command:
java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar Launcher.jar

if You use windows version then You can easily modify start.bat file by adding this

Thanks @tsolias @kryminator.

Eventually, I did the process manually, it didn't take much time. I don't have SO currently but yes, I can consider the option of importing into SO and then exporting as CSV in the future.
