there are some players constantly without form but that was happening also before

Seems short season and slowed training already affects quality of best players it was always like this in sokker low quality players more random results ..

random/weird/handicap results usually affect the stronger team and the random results happen irrespective of quality of players, if anything the stronger you are over your opponent the higher is the risk you will get screwed by the ME

Also the way game is developed you never know if some unintentional changes were made

no, they don't touch the ME, ever. they don't understand it and they are afraid they will mess it up. you can't "unintentionally" change the code of match engine.

So i assume that Greg does not want to be involved in it anymore.

I think they were basically open to the game going offline due to money/time needed to invest into re-coding the Flash elements to different language (without it the matches and most game visualisations would stop working in 2020). New investors came in, got some % of the game for funding the necessary re-writing + new changes, but the money that they invested run out much faster than they expected.

As for original owners I think they are mostly involved in brainstorming, the coding is done by outside people hired to do so. So in short... yeah, he can't be bothered.

Ok, that means ME wont be touched.
It could be touched if they hired someone that can read the code and that happens only if there is enough income.
So we will be stuck with this ME.

I tried "vibe coding" a ME, but the AI is nowhere near being able to do it, maybe in a few years :-).

unfortunately we do not have that lack we have 0 mids above 15 form 0 strikers with 17 or 18 form

on top i have 10 injured players in ntdb that could play in NT but due injuries they cant so is a problem :(

ps: i do not keep injured players in squad selection and 10 for us is too much

doesn't look like a "extreme form problem"...

looks like a normal form distribution to me
in PL there are some issues as well especially in midfield:) from top 6 MIDs 4 are in bad/average shape: 3, 7, 11, 13
and at least 6 great ATTs without form completely

of course for Poland it's easier and not such a big problem as in small/medium countries, but I don't see the form issue as something that suddenly changed after they changed the number of weekly games

I had 10 injured last week out from my top 40 :P still 5 injured now

well you cant compare Poland with Bulgaria i can step up for you next season so you will see :)

as i said i do not keep players on low form and injuries in NT selection so your statistical distribution is not acurate
