1 How do you rate your participation in the World Cup?


Our job was very difficult in the World Cup qualifiers. Because we had to beat Australia, which we had never beaten before in our history. To admit, our opponent was the better side than us in both matches, but we managed to win 1-1 and 1-0. We participated in the 3rd pot, but can you believe it, we drew a very strong team like Switzerland from the 4th pot. Not to mention Romania and Cuba. Our preparation matches did not go well either. We lost against Croatia without even taking a shot. We couldn't beat rivals like Litavnya and Uruguay. I also implemented the strategy of if you can't beat, don't lose. We were undefeated in 3 matches with a solid defensive line.


2 How do you rate the already completed group stage of the World Cup U21, who surprised you positively and negatively?


In the group stage, we received points from Romania for the first time in our history. I like statistics and archives. We lost all the Romania matches. There is not even a draw even in friendly matches. This was our positive side. I also wrote to the Azerbaijan forum before the matches. My goal is to draw with Switzerland and Romania and beat Cuba. I'm glad I kept my promise.


3 Black Horse of the tournament will be?


I don't know about the dark horse, but Azerbaijan u21 will be the black scourge of strong teams.

In my opinion our Team has done a great Job so far in the tournament. First game was a clear win for us, a second one was a clear loss. I had not much time to really prepare the team for the group stages and i think we could have done an even better Job. Our 3-rd game was superb, we were leading 2-0 against a great team in France but we missed to many chances and scored an own goal. I am satisfied overal, but there are some problems in certain areas. We can not compensate that, but have to try to find a best way to use our strengths. It is my first tournament, and very proud to represent our Country. I would like to thank our comunity for the great support they showed me.

I would say in our group, Česká republika U21 suprised me because they had unbeliveable group stage. Special mention goes to Suomi who had a superb last game against one of the favorites - Italy. Colombia u21 have also won all their games and conceded 0 goals. I would keep an eye on Bulgaria too, they were our opponents in qualifications and they are a very good team. They are one of the top u21 Teams and i think they could go a long way.
There are some teams who i think should have performed better , but it would be disrespectful imho to name anyone.

I don´t see anyone except Polska winning it, but i see Bulgaria as someone who could give them a lot of problems. Therefore they are my choice for the Dark Horse of the Tournament.

1 How do you rate your participation in the World Cup?
1- We needed to finish top of the group, but we couldn't do it. I am sorry about that
Now we will face one of the strongest squads of the game. But our team is also very strong. Most of the first 11 players are players I trained. I know very well what they can and cannot do. We will do our best to win the match.

2 How do you rate the already completed group stage of the World Cup U21, who surprised you positively and negatively?
2- I was surprised that Venezuela finished top of their group and France was eliminated.

3 Black Horse of the tournament will be?
3- Azərbaycan could be the Black Horse of this tournament. because Azərbaycan's coach Mustafaatik is a very good tactician.

1 How do you rate your participation in the World Cup?
1- I have achieved very good result after group phase. Czech Republic won three matches and is going to play in the cup phase. I also achieved my goal. Now each match is for me like final of World Cup. I don't know if I will get promotion to the next round. All thinking that Ukraine is the weakest team from cup phase I think that it is very strong team with strong coach Steve who has achieved the best result from history of Ukraine. I wish him good game against Czech Republic during Saturday match!!!!

2 How do you rate the already completed group stage of the World Cup U21, who surprised you positively and negatively?
2- The matches during group phase were very interesting and in my opinion all teams deserve to play in the cup phase. We don't have Belgium, Italy and France in the tournament and this is very big surprise.

3 Black Horse of the tournament will be?
3- Azərbaycan, but I think all teams from cup.phase can play in the final of World Cup.

1 How do you rate your participation in the World Cup?
1-It has not been the dream classification. We had problems against Croatia, we deserved to win against Venezuela but we couldn't and finally we won against Denmark. It was a difficult group but we should have done better.

2 How do you rate the already completed group stage of the World Cup U21, who surprised you positively and negatively?
2- There is nothing negative. The biggest surprise has been to see that there are many teams with a very high level and anyone can win. It is difficult to predict a final result.

1-Our participation was regular, we don't get any point, but we have moments during the matches where we give some suprises, unfortunately it was not enough to win at least one game. We had to be very offensive with the two great teams of our group, but it cost us to receive several goals. Now we have this experience and we hope to come one time more the next World Cup, I want to continue managing Mexico U21
