ufc 129 is awesome so far. preliminary fights were full of great finishes, and now this amazing macheda ko over coture. can't wait for gsp!!! expect it to be fight of the year

As a whole, that was one of the best UFC events in a long time

GSP fucked it up a bit at the end, he barely outstruck one of the worst strikers in whole UFC, but as a whole it was great.

Lyoto will take his belt back! :)

GSP was disappointing I agree. Still in my book he won all five rounds. Two judges somehow gave 2 rounds to Shields. You could see the surprised look on Georges face as well when Buffer announced it.

Aldo - Hominick was a great fight.

@GSP: yeah, he probably did, only 5th was maybe 10-10 but it was bad performance.

If he stays at WW Maia should get down to fight him, or title unification with Diaz.

I don't think any WW can come close to beating GSP. But I have to admit I'm getting a bit tired of always seeing the promos in the build-up to his fights, how he's developed and gets better every time. He really needs to start finishing people.

I see a fight Maia going very much like the fight he had with Shields. I don't think that's promotable at the moment.

k1 with some special rules:
- only 1 long round, without pause
- can hit with elbow
- no groundfight
- and as you can see, you can hit the judge too:D

Looks like fixed fight to me, wouldn't be first time for Sapp

Diaz would at least pressure him and throw some strikes. The last few guys he's faced seemed too afraid to properly engage with him for fear of being taken down or counter punched

anyway, he had a fight in romania in 2009 and our catalin morosanu kicked his ass too :)
