Kwiatkowski.

The break :-)

And Kwiatkowski would not have won anyway :).

Nor Valverde or Rodriguez :)

These days are often won by attackers.
2014-07-12 22:29:25
Tomorrow another days for attackers, or maybe for climber-sprinters when a larger group stays together.

Interesting developments

And Nibali so much stronger as the others. If he can do the same thing Friday and Saturday then the winner of the Tour de France 2014 is already know this weekend (if that isn't the case already after today's win).

This is not going to be the most exiting Tour with all those names out of the race and Nibali so much stronger as the others.

Yep, a strong contender for Nibali in the person of Contador would have been good for the tour. Now it's basically over unless Nibali gets in serious trouble.

That's not likely to happen, he can steer very well downhill and can also ride a very good individual time trial. Maybe gets sick, that can always happen to everyone, but that's the only thing I can think of that could change it all.

I don't see him as so much stronger. He attacked at 3 km and Pinot was only at 15 seconds at the finish. He has the best acceleration at the moment, but he's not a level above the rest. Maybe Pinot or Porte can do something to destabilise him. He has already a nice bonus in GC, so normally he should be okay at the end though.
