Brexit is an abbreviation of "British exit" that mirrors the term Grexit. It refers to the possibility that Britain will withdraw from the European Union. The country will hold an in-out referendum on its EU membership on June 23.

Excuse me if it sounds a bit aggressive, it is not directed towards you, but i hope they'll vote for "leave" and push their island 4000 km vest and change the flag from 12 stars to 52 stars. England has never been nor will ever be in Europe entirely.

Problem is there are also benefits for the EU to keep them on board (despite the fact I agree they'll never be 'fully European' acrosse the North Sea).
Think about the UK position in the IMF, half of the EU's vote in the UN council (other one being France), their pretty liberal countering of the rather state-influenced approach of France when it comes to trading, ...

Of course there are benefits, but i'm angry at them. I'd love to see a United Europe, i just dont see it happening. Even if "stay" wins with 55% for example, there are still 45% of brits who dont feel european. And its sad.

I don´t live in eastern europe and also not in america, so I don´t know anyone, who really wants to stay in the eu.

Nothing will change anyway. Brits will get out but still will be investing into European Union to keep the trading and other benefits as belgian panther already explained. UK will be same as for example Norway is at the moment. So... meh.

Some important politicians lose their hot seats and thats why its presented as a big problem.

They have a number of options, these are 2. The most troublesome is to disconnect completely from the EU, then they have to pay a lot more taxes for trade. If they make a deal like Norway, they indeed still have to follow EU rules. There are some other options, but non are really that good for the UK.

Funny thing is, the UK pays the least and get the most, but non of this seems to matter the 'out' camp as they only seems to care about 'being British on their island'.

Leading the brexit is Ukip, the far-right xenofobic and anti-EU party. Well done Britain if you vote for leaving the EU, well done for following Ukip and not your common sense.

Imho is the last cal for british to chose between democracy and totalitarism.

Ofcourse, I'm not surprised. Reject the facts and follow your feelings :/ I hope Brits are more smart but I'm afraid stupidity has spread to far already in Europe.
