Onderwerp: Snooker
It used to be reasonably big in Australia but that didnt last. The game is huge in China at the moment.
that explains something...my folks told me i learned about it on a family trip to bermuda years ago (free vacation due to the way the company handled my dad's training on the other side of the country).

Here, its a little difficult to play snooker. Its easy to play pool if you want, but its difficult to find a place where you can practice snooker.
Some several 100 meters there is a pool and snooker centre, and I used to play there like once a month some years ago. I began with snooker, but because I saw pool on the tv, which I liked more than snooker. ( mainly because the frames in snooker are too long, you can't make combos, and you can easily add spin to pool)
I began playing pool. The last months I tried to get some in dept information on how to use the spin balls at best, but it is still very vague for me.

Playing with spin depends on what size table and balls your using. On the small tables it can be difficult because you've not got a big surface area to hit. Its not an easy thing to do at first, especially when you realise that playing with side means the ball doesnt go in a straight line as usual.
Im not bad at pool and i'v recently learned how to put spin on the ball after it hits the cuche

I am especially interested in what direction the ball goes with a specific spin. I know if you use backspin it goes back. Topspin is forward, but I always have problems with side spin. :(

Once in a while I'm very interested in Snooker, mostly when the crucible is. But after that I forget snooker, until there's an important tournament again.

If you put left hand side spin on the ball, instead of going straight, will move towards the right slightly, it can make potting difficult. Once the cueball has hit the object ball, the side you've put on with either widen or narrow the angle the cue ball heads off in after contact.
