I don't think it has anything to do with free slots (most people do that), luck is the biggest factor :)

These are my only relatively promising players in the youth school;

I've just noticed that one of my juniors has just jumped 3 skill levels this week. So I'm expecting him to go down next time.

Has anybody seen such a "jump" in one week before? I appreciate all that means is that my junior coach is a twit though ;-)

In fact, I've just noticed that one of my 17s did the exact same thing a few weeks back as well.

2 "increases/decreases" in 1 week is a lot more common than I thought it would be as well ...

I had a really bad spell for 2 seasons, but before that i had Butler Budge and shawcross in the same season (2nd 2 not as good as the 1st) & finally things are on the up again (you really only need 1 to make it all worth while and Jimmy has had Roadknight 19yo or a few not as good but still good enough to fetch enough £)

tcd_uk i have had double jumps but never 3! my player Gillet came in at solid went very good & back to solid again :( i had high hopes for him:

Joseph Gillett 16 solid outfield 3 [Excellent 16yo juniors can be proper nice (re-Nothis Honeybun), & i hope that's a fake Solid & he's very good atm]

Eric Coxford 16 average outfield 4 [was adequete last week & scores well so not sure if he is average]

Elliot Frankcombe 16 solid outfield 10 [has been a quick jumper, should be a Formidable 17yo]

Club received 77 408 £ from transfer of junior Evan Buttle.

I've had to give up on my juniors as it was costing me way too much and putting me in danger of going bankrupt. I hate to think how many 10's of thousands I've wasted on this without a single decent player coming through. 3 of them looked decent but after training them for many many weeks with an incredible coach, I've recently promoted them up and sold them for a combined total of under $5000 - that's less than a 3rd of the coaches weekly wages !!!.

I won't be doing that again in a hurry :-(

If you have had many weeks without anyone then you are bound to get 1 Huge player giving you millions i say, i certainly wouldn't give up i'd always sell an oldie player let my team suffer now for future investment.
2 seasons seems to be about how long you can go max then you get a proper nice 1 , make sure you sell the better Juniors if you haven't got decent enough coaches.

If you take a look at the under 21 squad They have come out of about 25-35 decent (above incredible coach level) junior schools plus there's players of 16,17,18yo that will make the under 21 squad at a later date and more that won't, and many before them that did and didn't and fetched 100's of thousands and millions.

10,000 a week for the coach wages is not a lot of money to make in the transfer market buying and selling.
Finally mostly every decent side in sokker England has had at least 1 very nice junior (in the last 3 seasons) others have had more and most have also had quite a few others worth enough to bank role there junior schools through the rough times.

Problem I have is that I'm losing upwards of 50,000 every week (wages for the various coaches make up most of that) when I don't have a home game and 20,000 even when I have a home game. With my current balance at just above 150,000, I'd be overdrawn in just a few more weeks so I just can't afford to keep the junior school going with an decent coach at the moment. I may look at training juniors again in the future but for now I just can't afford it, so have sacked my junior coach and reduced the school down to 0.

For whats its worth , my total earnings from youth school is currently 20'510'100 £... and I still have many players in my squad from Junior school who I could sell,and increase my earnings. I have an unearthly coach currently working the Juniiors.

wow - that's something I can only dream about !!. I've had my junior school for a couple of seasons and don't think I've made more than 10,000 in total from my sales. I've had an incredible coach for most of that time on wages of over 12,000 a week so you can see how much money I've been losing and I've had to sell some senior players along the way just to keep afloat - in the vain hope I might pull a decent junior to make it all worthwhile - but no such luck. Even the one player I had that looked pretty decent (who at one point was outstanding while in the junior school) only sold for 3,000 last week when he came out of the juniors.

It was getting to the point where I was in danger of going broke so I've had to let the junior school.
