A nice start to the new season as we've got through into Round 2. Now hoping for a nice cup draw.

Same here ...I like the cup as bot players are a rare thing in England and I think that made competition a bit better :)

I think the opposite, it's really hard to train and stay in the cup, and my fans were loosing hope after finishing 2nd in the league!!!! which is beggars belief & ridiculous, now they are furious after we won on pens in the cup, which is also stupid, we need to interact with them some how or they need to be slightly more intelligent because atm the fans have zero iq

This is an old subject around the bug forum...and you are right...its simple to fix it tho...working on doing some other things if greg agrees and I think that if we start working toghether and he starts to trust me more ...I could get a fix to this! Lets just hope greg will agree with the point that if you loose interest then let the people that still have the excitment keep working...pass it on...just do not intrerupt evolution...because that means death (wow so poetical these days :)))

Fans should be happy because of my League position, and like in real life teams play alot more youth in the Cup, when they are in the early rounds against lower sides and opposition play there best teams so 5-0 is not realistic the win makes fans happy (unless it's Cambridge vs Man Utd millions)

Do you still like the cup? as your out next round with me.... I used to get to the 5th all the time = 5 weeks those english youth or just youth got better training, as you can only blood 2 or 3 into your main team for those extra minutes a friendly dos'nt give you.

This is the 1st time i've had a top 16 ranking at the point needed to get a good cup draw.. have i just had 2 bad draws then? i no Rampant should be in division 2 maybe partly to do with it.

It's going to be really tough producing better players than i have in the past. maybe the answer would be to get more newbies! [easier said than done]

I'm out the FA Cup 1st round for the 5th time in my history.

I've never been knocked out in the first round. R2/R3 fair few times though.

Nor me, i think my league game against herbs is a loss so i am switching teams, may = 20-0 loss in league but fans are furious so winning cup will help that quicker, it's the 1st time i'm ever going to do this, i do fear injuries in the league game....

For Round 2, we were the last team out of the hat. I'm very hopeful for reaching R3.

So you should almost playing your best team! are you not training much youth? what do you do when your out of the cup?

I actually went to check your history before i posted ;) i was disappointed to learn you've never gone out in R1. Once in the second round i think.

True, but at the same time the first cup, unless you are in the CC you get to play first team (although I usually play a mix of first team and reserves to get the most training possible). This season was a full reserve lineup though, but had a brand new team / bot.

I could realistically go out in the next round. I'd much rather save first teamers for R3 of the CC if I manage to get that far.

I think I may still hold the record for the biggest cup final win though. Beat forestman 8-0 in the final - not sure I have seen more than that.
