I think I may still hold the record for the biggest cup final win though. Beat forestman 8-0 in the final - not sure I have seen more than that.

Oh definately. Losing in the 1st round was pretty difficult, even with a full reserve line-up, because you were nearly always up against a newish IV team.

My game last night was against a 5 year old team, and my team is bobbins now most importantly.

Well, i can already help you out there, from my own history;

Bah. Unfortunately not much I can do about things like that. You can also say you've been in a cup final more recently than me, my last appearance in a final was in 2009. Keep either going out early or getting knocked out in the semis.

I blame evertonian. And Phil. And wd40 obviously.

I still seem to be able to win the league despite being poor in the cup. I did used to be able to win the cup, not really sure why it constantly goes wrong now.

When you go out is it always a full strength side? It's hard to compete in both and find that balance.

Last season when I went out in the semi final it was full strength lineup. Normally I go out when I am trying to play as many reserves as possible, as it is better for training. I either get it slightly out, or run into a bit of bad luck.

My second string did me proud today against Mcoi's 2nd/3rd? string as we only lost 3-2 and were drawing 2-2 at one point.

Was a blend of first teamers and reserves. I think you would have been in with a shout for sure with your first team.

Puts me in the home seeds for the quarters though seeing as the top 4 seeds all won their games, so means will probably need to bring in full first team to progress further.

Must have got you a tidy sum for the attendance at least.
