Think so, I don't remember it being anything but that.

In some ways helps to have a lower seed than where your side should be ranked. Get the home games earlier and then earn more money for the cup.

I thought the same, was pretty sure it is 50/50 in cup games, qualification games and friendlies aswell.

Same here. mrs_Quibbage is going old, getting amnesia and needs to retire.

I always thought it was that. I blame nose bleeds from still being in the cup.

I won it once, it's a bit boring, should at least put a big cup on your front page or play a fanfare or something lol

Yea but it's a bit old and tarnished to be fair mate. I think maybe if they put a pic on your front page with team name on etc. for a season it would be cool. Perhaps saying 21st cup winner or something as we can't go on year.

Another season of no cup for me. Prob be easier just to go out in R1!

You both got great draws In the last round... I didn't in the round before yet i was ranked In top 8.

last season I got to the quarters ranked In top 16 but got really good draws, i expected a better 3rd round draw though :( Probably because Jeziorak Ilawa may have been ranked outside top 32 , wish they'd win a few more friendlies these teams...

Congrad's to Basingstoke aswell getting to quarters of the FA Cup at the expense of Lodz, and being top of division II.04 [for now]

Ranking is probably the most stupid way of setting the cup, mostly as rankings are nonsense. It won't ever change though now.

Ranking is totally daft. I don't see how FRs have a higher ranking than any team in the PL even if they are better than us ;-)
