Lost, lack of experience against huge experience. Only 46k income. Please, don't take this as a sore loser cry but I don't get my today's opponent. All players are not only 30+ but almost 40. Stadium is not generating enough income. Normally, after a game lost in the FA Cup you wish good luck in the future to the winning team. But the future is pretty grim in this case. Anyway, talking about the future, I'm happy to give my reserves another run in an official game, 3rd this season for them. Shame I got a shite draw, could've been 4. Good luck to all the teams that went through. We all know who's playing the final anyway.

I've just noticed. 33 players in the squad, only 7 under 30 (none of them being played), the youngest then is 32 (not played tonight, of course). We all talk on here about academies and training and coaches and pops and stadium income and whatever else is to do with a long term plan. We're wasting our time. Success comes on a zimmer frame.

It was my choice to play the reserves. Anyone can play any side they want after all. I'm just worried that the reserves don't get to play too much in the new format so I really don't care about the cup run anymore. And that gets to my point. A squad so old is wrong from the start (playing this game is not just about winning games, at least some of us would agree). But then you have a chance to get yourself out of that situation and you still play the 33 to 39 years old... I mean... What's the plan? Again, the stadium generated only 46k income tonight. I guess there's nothing to pay on coaches (can't see the point) but still it'd be very difficult to build something from there.

As for above I was lucky as WESFA got over 50,000 fans and I took home nearly £200,000 tonight. :)
