There was a lot of the bigger seeds falling tonight. Most home teams won!

You should try it one day....losing on purpose so you can start your friendly league for everyone is a bit OTT imo ;)

You are just jealous. And jealousy gets you no where.

I wasn't technically 'losing on purpose' but I was happy to play my reserves due to the new format, otherwise they'd have little time(games) for training. And I'm sure lots of us did the same. The FA Cup is going to be treated like this by many in the future, I'm afraid.

I’m lucky that my trainees are pretty strong so I can switch players around and still be strong. I know that when I eventually do a re-haul that I’ll be in the same boat.

Your side is getting filled with players you'll never be able to replace - give it a few seasons and the current edge you have will start reducing.

Maybe……but we will all be in the same boat.

You have the most to lose though.

How so? My team is doing well, I have worked towards this point for many seasons and I am enjoying the success of my patience and training. All teams have cycles, this is my prime point and maybe for the next 4 to 5 seasons. After that I either rebuild and start again or walk away........it's a game after all :p

At the top with highest overall skill level in England. So therefore most to lose. You've now got £26m invested in two players which will soon start losing value.

Starting again is only for those with nothing left to achieve. You've got a way to go yet :P
