You could probably make your debut for the England national team ;)
2024-04-20 13:53:45
Hugh Grubb unfortunately received a red card and won't play against Russia. We have a replacement for him.

Tommy Ingram got his debut today, woohoo!! :)

A nice, easier game gives you an opportunity to play different players!

Good win still. "Well done. Piotr" :)

You're developing your players nicely, and some of them should play in the U20 match against Azerbaijan.

Thanks. I've sacrificed a few seasons now developing my young players. Playing them in my league games and getting beaten as a result. However, I've persisted and now my players are starting to get to a decent level. They're getting rewarded with a chance in the U21s. I'm happy with the way it's going :)

I've got 6 home grown players that are all in the U21 squad but with only the 1 that holds down a regular place. Ingram made his breakthrough today. I think the likes of Beckham and Higgins will be ready soon (fingers crossed).
2024-04-20 18:46:20
Actually, Beckham and Higgins have a chance to play in the friendly match.
2024-04-20 19:26:29
OK. That'll be good but if you decide they're not good enough still, no problem. When they're good and ready and all that!! :)

you are training well for the next generation of England stars ;)

keep up the great work and thank you :)
2024-04-20 21:51:22
Cheers mate. I'm hoping my investment pays off. Time will tell.
2024-04-21 10:10:05
Pay off as in? Money? Glory for England?

I remind you that I am the coach, and I decide who plays

I know that :) I was just wondering what skills do you prefer. He even hasn't been on the bench.

Herbie O'Connor, age: 20, height: 182 cm
value: 2 544 750 €, wage: 22 800 €
club: Jälgimäe Lõvid, country: England
form [13] incredible, tactical discipline [11] formidable

stamina [6] adequate, keeper [17] divine
pace [11] formidable, defender [4] weak
technique [3] poor, playmaker [4] weak
passing [4] weak, striker [3] poor

Other 2 goalies are better? What are their skills?

Listen, this is not the time for discussion. Your player will be the first choice next season, and for now, he'll play in friendly matches. The goalkeeper who's currently playing is better in three other skills and additionally has better form.

Short term would be to train them to the best level and hopefully they get into the national side. Then after, I would probably sell them so I'd be looking to maximise their sale proceeds, so I could reinvest in the side.

I've not had any decent youth players come through last season and I cant see any on the horizon for this one either (at this moment in time). Therefore, I'm a little concerned a gap could grow. I want at least 1 or 2 top youth players coming into my AT slots, and selling off older ones, who aren't performing in training so well.

You played against a 33 rating team, Piotr. I doubt those 3 skills mattered against a team who probably would've scored no goals even if you played without a GK.

England, after the recent high victory, has moved to the top of the group. I'm also pleased that we are the only team that hasn't conceded a goal. Next week, we have a match against Russia, and we start the rematch round.
