54.9 not high enough... some will be better played elsewhere but we learn from this and build onto next week....

subs never had much of a chance but this is their time to improve ;)

Bulgaria won with 57-58. Remove the subs and we're not far off that.

its not all about stats mate...... its about stamina.. pace.. tech..passing..playmaking..striker.... and more

i won in the FA cup with 35 this week?

we learnt a lesson today.... and i hope we can move on from it

You've got Hurlanders this Friday, 35 won't do it against them. I've got Shakespeare, so I'm done unless something gets sacrificed.

I've been wondering about this actually. Being in the cup for another week or 2 is a significant training benefit, but it does make the league difficult.

From my experience, the key to U21 teams is the striker. If we have a strong striker, they can make a huge difference, even if the rest of the team is weaker. Every surprise team in the World Cup had a striker with exceptional skills. That’s why we need to develop such a player. I'm not judging the match against Belgium, but having just one shot in the entire game is nothing to be proud of.

Never once said i was proud of the game... my 1st week... :P still getting used to who is who and where to play them.. and what tactic might work...
I think one of my last u21 matches was a draw for Crna Gora vs you which was a while back ;)

Nothis, I know you need time to get to know the players, and each game will improve under your guidance. Unfortunately, the problem for all of us is the lack of quality talent to train. When was the last time any of us produced a truly fantastic player? Because I can’t remember. I wish you the best of luck in your next match.

You hit the nail on the head, 5 seasons now since I had Freeman. At the time I didn’t think he was very good, but he’s turned out to be my last decent junior.

As a community, I believe we are doing a lot, but we aren't seeing significant results because we lack valuable players to train. I reduced the number of available training spots from 30 to 20, and now I can’t even fill the 20.

I've never really had a player in my junior team that I could be excited about. Whenever I had some hope, the players turned out to have poorly distributed skills, and only through sheer determination did I try to make something out of them.
