Yes, BR, I am on about you. And others that do the same when playing against the top teams. Disappointing. Yes, you're going to probably lose but how will you ever know how to win?

I had 4 of my best players out, plus the other 2 games were much more improtant and couldn't win those, nobody in there right mind would think i'd get anything v thamesmead

I played Thamesmead in FA Cup and almost got a result in this game. I was 55.5 rating against 66.7. I remember I created a tactic for that game. I tried, like I always do. What other game could be more important than the FA Cup semifinal? The league? It's only half season.

You're not the only one thinking like this. No wonder there's no competition in the Premier. Teams with healthy budget, good players and knowledge of the game but choosing to pretend that they have more important plans or no time to challenge. It's not about knocking Thamesmead of their perch (a place wdp deserves more than all of us together), it's about the reason we're so behind other leagues. Let's not forget, Thamesmead was eliminated from the Champions Cup by a team from Malta. Wdp is probably the main victim in this. It's too easy and when a real test comes along it's too hard.

Na games crap with injuries straight reds and even form, i'm not investing to loose bundles trying to win 1 place , i'm not throwing my top juniors away for buying all old players does not interest me, hence why i named my team man utd 95-96 [ can't win with kids]

Some examples from Premier League, transfer balances of teams:

Rock bottom -84 255 929 zł

These teams are constantly spending more than they earn on transfers = usually in long term it means that a team only makes money on sponsors/tickets, not on training/transfers

The only 2 really good teams in this matter are

Northern Villa 649 595 934 zł
Man United 1995-96 639 994 650 zł

plus decent & understandable with stronger team Thamesmead Town FC 83 844 607 zł

and you can't really make a decent 70+ team and improve the value/quality of a team without a healthy transfer balance
less high value 25+ ready for first team players, more investments in 16-19yo players is the way to go...

These are very sweeping generalisations. And wrong. For starters just going on the transfer figure doesn't take into account money in the bank. It doesn't take into account youth sales. Plus aswell, sides who trade more often will inevitably end up with a + figure balance through money lost in transfer tax.

There's a further argument if you have a positive transfer balance, you are inefficient at managing the team. IE overspending past optimum point on coaches, high player salaries (particularly with lop sided ones), excessively sized stadium. The perfect balance would actually be closer to 0 rather than a big + or -.

If all teams in the game had big + balances, it could completely stagnate the economy to a grinding halt fairly soon. Negative balance sides give to the economy, + balance take it away.

My balance is only +£12.5m....given how long I've been I. the game that's quite small compared to others I am guessing?

Right now I would hazard my team is worth a lot though, I also have a bank balance far in excess of my plus figure above.
