I’m not really interested in getting into this, however imo everyone should be able to play the game how they see fit. It shouldn’t really be necessary for personal insults either.
The changes in the game have not made it easier imo, my side is gradually getting older because I’m finding less time to be online when players are selling, plus the prices went insane on top of this.
As for what Borkos has said…he is a highly knowledgable and previously successful player so what he says may help others.
Anyway have a good day all. ;)

Back to season 64, unlucky Truffs, it took till 80th minute for Wdp to get a winner, that's the closest anyone other than alligator has got to him.

Easy win for you, happy to keep the score down with 2 reserve midfielders in defence though.

Well played BR. You've got a pretty young side there too.
Wdp and Aligator will be looking over their shoulder, worried about what is coming their way.
Making the prem even more interesting...

Yes thanks BR but he was shooting from all angles. We were doing a great maxtrix impression at one point but it could not last. It was not my full strength team though so that was a small consolation.
I would never have thought that JensenElla was random. That was a word I would not have associated with him. Far from Random and I don`t get the socks reference either but then as a country bumpkin Cornish person I don`t do strange city folk stuff. I do feel I started some of this as it was my orginal comment that started this off but at least we are being reminded how it is tricky for many clubs to balance the books. Me included as I make money in the prem and loose it in div 2.

Yeah maybe next season i can cause an upset.
I think Padstow be a tough match next week, I'll do well to win that considering now sold best defender, makes it nobody over 29yo in my squad apart from 32yo spare keeper & 66yo Workman
@ Truffs, yes I noticed the shots ratio.

Not so long ago I analyzed my whole experience of relegating from Premier to Division 2. I included almost every aspect: preparation beforehand , financial shock and changes, tactical adaptation, training progress and even expectations vs reality outcome. Before that, I questioned users that aren't proactive enough and put the results before the future of their squad by playing old/er players and ignoring the younger ones in their squads.
SSJP(Fenland) is now shocked to notice the same experience caught him unprepared. I thought it is laughable. And ironic. But not as ironic as being mocked by the same user who, not so long ago was telling me to shut up about the older teams as this is the way forward. His counter argument was stating some facts that do not apply anymore in sokker. Because, whatever you say about the new system, nicely wrapped and all that, it's changed this game substantially from what it used to be. So much, that most of us (if not all) can hardly adapt. And, financially, the gap between top/veteran teams and lower/new teams is deeper than ever. Yes, most of you will say 'but I earn more than before with one home game per week'. Correct. But what can you do with those money. The transfer market reflects the inflation, prices for decent players are sky high. As for a player above the average, let's be honest, only 3 or 4 teams in England can buy. Ironically, our friend borkos is the perfect example of this inadaptability. And trust me, most of the users that are now rich and at the top of the English league won't even manage to get out of the 3rd division if they'd start now. But people like borkos are still stuck in the past. Giving the same empty advices that are not really helping anyone. And he does it on every other forum he gets involved. Unlike here, he doesn't have so many cheerleaders, on the international forum they call him for his lack of substance. Here, though, users like wdp love to agree with someone who says a lot of empty words. Wdp has been at the top of the league for many seasons now and I don't recall any positive contribution to this community. Except telling us how good Miller is and how many wins in the row his team has got, no one has had anything helpful yet. Oh, wait, a bit of cheerleading for the NT's, I almost forgot. Look at Piotr, always proactive and helpful, supporting of the new users or users who want to do something positive about this game. Remember Antos? That guy was one the best users for our whole community and for our leagues. Except nothis. A guy who hasn't even got the decency to play this game in fair manner but had the 'moral' ground to attack Antos.
Call me random, I don't mind. I like being random. But don't tell other users that someone like borkos is the one they should listen to. The game has changed and he's just that guy that bought a house in his 80's for 10k and tell us today to stop paying for Netflix and we can do it too today when the prices are half a million. Have some randomness about yourself, don't try to be special by joining anyone who attacks me.
And...have a good day.

But borkos... what? Do you have an actual point to make?
Obviously his team is not run properly. Most teams in England aren't, by a wide margin. I've already posted the numbers once, it's one of the weakest club level-wise countries among those with ~100 users.
My point wasn't that he has a well run club, my point was that you have no right to laugh at him because your team is not run in a better way. You're running in circles without any improvements.
Now you're showing his team. Show yours, actually I will do that for you.
GK - 24, wasted 3m euro on him, considering his wages you won't even brake even with him
DEF - 30, 30, 29, 28.
MID - 29, 30, 27, 27
ATT - 29, 26
subs: 29, 27, 25
What is your point about that guys team? You're using old players yourself, you're not training 20-24yos in first team, you're not getting results, you got totally trashed. What gives you the idea that you can make fun of someone's team when your is so terribly constructed?
Because, whatever you say about the new system, nicely wrapped and all that, it's changed this game substantially from what it used to be
yes, it made the game much EASIER in terms of training, you can practically set an individual training system for some players, it's far far easier to train for profit because of that, you don't have to train all players in same skill every week like it was before.
you're just spurting some nonsense theories. the game is easier, especially because user level dropped significantly over the years. I'm not even active and I'm still making a lot of money every season on training, even without investing huge sums. I turned 3m zloty into 18m zloty (click) in 2.5 months, now I've got a player I bought for 11m zloty and he is already worth around 30m zloty.
the game has the same basics but became easier for those that try to improve the team by training, problem is you have no idea how this game works, you achieved nothing, your team is in the same place that it was 6 seasons ago and yet you THINK that you know something. you don't.

I hope everyone finds what borkos said about my team helpful. He is good, he knows. He makes money. He is entitled to have a go at anyone. He is angry. Don't be like me, be like him.

I'm not angry, why would I be angry at you? I'm just stating facts, sorry if that riles you up so much that you felt the need to attack me even one day after our discussion.
This game is very easy, now easier than ever. You just have to follow very simple rules to improve. Nothing more to it, except for tactics, but that's not related to team and budget building.

I almost never had more than 1 player over 30 in my squad. I hate having 30 years old right now. But this amazing new system is giving so many great juniors and so much time to train them that I just can't cope (sarcasm). And that is my point: no decent juniors, lesser time to train them, expensive players on the transfer market (mostly because some are making good money) and overall not a good environment to develop young players. Ok, sell all, promote juniors no matter what, train them, make money. Nice in Poland, you actually play against real users in the lower leagues. Here, ending up in the 3rd division is a passion killer.
You're not helping, lad, you talk about a different experience. You're contradicting yourself. Not to mention you're obsessed with me. Which is weird.
