As the old saying goes, the rich get richer. It helps wdp keep at top if he can generate an extra £1-2m a season than anyone else!

I'm envious of generating that amount of ticket revenue. One day maybe, one day...

@wdp, where are these millions going? Into new players, coach/player wages, stadium upgrade or a new yacht? ;)

I don’t get that every week unfortunately but I do have 2 home games to end the season against my direct challengers which usually sell well…..I do play away the first 2 games though so it balances out.

I spent a lot of money on my stadium Mr G. ;)

I wish I had those crowds every home match :p

For your information, in my Polish federation, we organized a tournament for the highest earnings from matchday tickets. Here is the qualification of the achieved results. Apologies for the Polish language, but if you want to convert to pounds, divide by 6.67.

My highest is more than this weekend. 91,803 is my highest crowd.

Most home games Thames have 30k empty seats, so he looses revenue there, I reckon in our league there's no point in having more than 65k

Div 2, I always thought 40k was about right maybe sounds a tad low if 65k is right.

Depends on who's in your Division 2, but 40-45k sounds about right
60-65k, but if others had bigger fan bases....

Before convo...also factor in top sides like Thames have to play each Cup match away.

Have you played around with ticket prices to see if you can get the stadium filled?

Definitely not worth it to build the stadium over 70k in my opinion, in smaller countries probably 60k would be enough, in top countries like Poland 80k might still be a good idea, but that's definitely MAX

Mine is 104k but I built it before we could change the ticket prices when it made sense to have a really big stadium, now there's no need for that

it's a match from 2012 so the report is already f... but it shows in my team stats as the highest attendance game with 104k :)

I put lower prices but it made revenue less overall.

I usually get 3 very high attendance games a season, maybe 4 with champions cup. I’m not sure if I lose money but I did not plan this stadium, I spent money on it when I was going to give up playing.
