Hi all, what are everyone's aspirations for the new season?

I hope to do well again, I would like to achieve better in the Champions Cup however, I was fairly lucky to win my 1st round match in a very tough match the scoreline flattered me. I need to bring in some younger trainees too but my youth school seems a bit low on good potential atm unfortunately and I would rather add my own players.

Produce...train...sell...build ;)

Possibly top 6 finish.. a few rounds in the cup would be nice too...
Might need to sell a player to cover my losses from coaches etc

Tough league this season, my days of being 'arrogant to the extreme' are over.
Hope for a top 9, though. And hope for a jump in the squad value at the same rate as last season.
I'd say the same but I don't do very well with the 'sell' part, plus I have Klopp's problem, I get too attached to the players.
This season will be a 'que sera, sera' type of season for me.

If I finish 9th I'll be happy. It's going to be tough.

It's all about 3rd place. None of this 1st or 2nd nonsense.

Gutted I don't have an easy 6 pointer this season though.

Premier seems to be over before it started, now that Legia decided to sell all the squad.

One thing I've noticed, quite a few of those on the transfer list are way over 30 and yet their pace is at 17. It's really unrealistic. And before you start giving me examples of Ronaldo or god knows what other human freaks, let me remind you it's very unlikely that they all play for Legia. In fact, it's not an exception on sokker, it's the rule. And it's wrong.

Well, that ain't good.

In today's friendly I had a freekick from my own box and the opp's player was standing right next to the ball. My player took the free kick, ball hit the player standing next to it, bounced to another of the opp's players in the box who scored. I've never seen this happening before. In real football would've been a yellow and free kick retaken. In sokker this is called a bug. Which should be fixed.

Thamesmead should have to play in a stronger league like Poland or something ;)

Peak years for footballers are normally aged 27-29 , so 30 is only 1 year out of peak like 26 is, I get fast forwards loose pace about 29 if they don't look after themselves, train less, and drink too much alcohol eat badly etc, but these days they don't nearly as much, Rooney lost his Pace/form around 26yo, but those legs had ran all over the pitch for 9 years by then and he drank, ate chips, even caught smoking, 27yo he was pretty much finished. Owen wasn't squeaky clean, and his body was injury prone.

Also they age quicker now in sokker, and Superdivine-Divine was easier to get to under the old rules and players that age are from mostly that time

What a boo boo, My friendly is in the USA, so I have to stay up till 12.45am to see if i got any injuries in AT :(

mines was injury free so thankful for that!!! Just need some nice pops in the morning which would be nice ;)
