I lose under £400,000 per week, I also get big gates. This week I made over 1m in gate receipts from my 2 games. I did start the season with 2 away games though.

Sponsors weekly 186,808

Salaries -394,290
Coaches -135,375
Club Fac -43,200
Juniors -10,800
Total -396,857 per week

I then have ticket sales on top, during the cup weeks it helps as crowds are better than friendlies. I lose a lot early season as the 1st week is away in both league matches, but it's made back by 2 home matches in the last week. I try to be prudent with my finances and weekly bits and pieces.

My home crowds this season are:

vs Rockbottom - 69,451
vs Kowal - 60,431
vs Shakespeare - 45,980
vs Bramford - 50,497
vs Forest Hill - 70,406
vs Swamp - 58,122
vs Barstable - 58,134
vs Beer Is - 57,550
vs Padstow - 56,741
vs Legia - 60,741
vs Man Utd - 68,367 (Disappointed by this crowd as expected a huge one)

Total fans - 656,420

Ticket prices - £9 sides / £8 behind goal/ £7 corners

@BR you had 575,387 supporters this season.....a difference of 81,033
I have no idea how the price may differ but if at £8 then thats £648,264 less than my tickets income.

I also had Champions League income on top and git to round 5 again. (Qtr finals)

I have a 3/4 capable of playing winger, sometimes I play 2 wingers.

In the "Statistics" (if you have Plus), some are useful, like "leading scorers", "most assists" etc, some are useless like "most fouls" or "players - oldest" (in 2.01 the last one is just a shortcut to Univ Craiova's squad). But there's one I don't know what to make of it: "most active". Actually three, because it expands in most active - defensive and most active - offensive. Are you thrilled that your player is most active? Or worried? I wouldn't want to have a player that is 32% most active (for example). It tells me that there's something wrong with my tactic if a one player is so involved in the the overall game. What happens if that player gets a red card early in the game?
I might be wrong.

I think it has a lot to do with form, different skills, compatibility in the position played and whether against strong opposition or not.
2024-06-07 16:39:20
I would expect someone in space to be the most active in games maybe?
2024-06-07 16:56:56
Quite often a defender will be active where there is a winger. Especially if it is a high level winger.

I get the defender/winger situation but mostly it's a MID that tops that stat. I'm making it like I'm reading into it. But in fact, I don't, that's why I asked. Without a clear argument, I think that a MID that ends up 35% active, compared with (let's say average) 15% it shows that the tactic has an issue. An issue that could become a problem if that players is sent off.

Again, I must stress, I'm just guessing.

On a game by game basis, it's possible. Your team is attacking the whole game, obv the strikers will get a high %. Same as the other team's defenders. In fact, I noticed that team of the week is generally made of defenders that have a high activity, rather than markings. So are the midfielders, except if they provided an assist, in which case, they get in the team of the week before others. Strikers are picked by most goals scored and then separated by the markings.

I was talking about those that constantly have high %, like the ones at the top of that stat now, at the end of season.

I haven't looked at it much but my view has always been that you want activity balanced, otherwise it means you've got gaps that need covering that pull players out of position. At least on the defensive side anyway.
2024-06-07 17:44:44
Aye, that resonates and explaines better what I thought but couldn't explain (just like this sentence lol)

That's what I imagine when I see players with a lot higher than the average %. And I never wanted any of my players to win that stat. I just didn't know why haha. Thanks for describing what I feared, Camus.

Not necessarily, if a high&wide winger is left unmarked and properly placed then he will have a very high OFF activity (because he will get the ball all the time) and you want that.

In last Germany NT match I used a high winger and he had 31% activity only in OFF, went through the opponent all the time.

There’s no point in reading into most of the stats, they are just for fun/curiosity. And the „top team” is effed up.

Yep, asymmetric formations render the whole thing pointless.

kowal203 - RTS Widzew Łódz 1:3

After today's victory, RTS returns to the elite and will play in the Premiership:)

Balls.

My keeper, a defender and a midfield all got injured in the qualification game.

Lost 3-0 but 3 enforced subs really not helpful.

I went for it, spent money purely to try to win the qualifier.

Ah well.

I also made a few transfers to get promoted, and fortunately, it paid off for me.
