I'm sure you have, I played against you a few times and I was always amazed how well you do tactically. I admire your tactical mind.

The tactics league is actually showing how managers overcome stats by implementing a good tactic. The top 10 is a picture of managers that get more from their team than what actual stats say they could.

I survived in this game by having decent tactics. I never had superstars in my team, that kind of player that could win a game on his own. I had to create tactics that would overcome my ratings deficit.

One thing it's not taking into account is the likes of aligator lowering ratings by bringing younger players on for the last 10 minutes. The match report shows 59.7 v 59.7. But in reality the team started out with a 65.8 rating before those subs. Did get a red card in first half but doesn't change was heavy favourite in that match.

There's not really anything that can be done about that.

An accurate reflection would be average rating throughout the match but would get very complicated.

He is taking a risk making those subs. In one instance the player coming on had a higher rating. Beer made a couple of similar subs too. Besides, it'd be very complicated to determine the correct rating throughout the game. I look at all games and try to notice tactics and ratings etc. For example, Colne brought on a player with a lower rating against Aubergine. That player seems to have made the difference, an assist and a goal in the 15 minutes played.

It's very tactical making changes like that and can be a massive gamble... but it's about if you want to win or train.. or both ;)

More than 8 points between RTS and Colne. I think we can declare the winner by now. RTS has two more games to play, both easy (imo), against two teams with low ratings. It's up to their strikers to make up the difference but I don't think they will score as high. The 8 points cushion should be enough though. Colne, on the other hand will play the remaining games against two of the highest ratings in their league. If they win, they might get high scores in this tactical league. But I doubt they will manage to catch up. I don't think Squeezers can claim to be a challenger anymore, in fact, their 3rd place is now under threat, Anfield is only 3.5 points behind.

Tonight RTS got the best score 5.15. Padstow, Shakespeare, Welling, Szolgyorok and Northern Thistle came back with scores below -1.

Legia is still the top team in Premier, although tonight their great scoring run was tamed by Man United. Anfield have increased their lead in 2.01, RTS is the obvious leader in 2.02 (they will definitely win this one) and Colne in 2.03.
The Premier depends very much on Man United performances against Rock and Thamesmead. A big win against Rock and a win/draw vs Thamesmead could push them above Legia. Then again, Legia might get a good score against Rock.

9 points with 2 games left is not a gap that's going to be closed. RTS has by far been the most consistent manager this season.

I said the same. The gap might be narrowed, RTS plays against teams with low ratings, Colne plays against team with high ratings. It depends if Colne win and RTS don't win at a difference that would overcome the rating diff. But I very much doubt that the gap will be closed.
