Onderwerp: Manager of the Season (66)

The 4/5 group winners then. Who had the best season? All 5 will be playing in the top league next season.

I voted for spitfire (Colne). He achieved direct promotion, hasn't lost a game, won 20 out of 22 and did this while using quite a lot of squad players, not just a set 11. Not even the best team in his fairly poised league (on the paper), only 8 goals conceded in 22 games.
Conte and wdp were the other managers I thought about voting for too. But: Conte promoted on the back of me doing my best not to, otherwise the story would've been different. Wdp had a great season that we could only dream of. That defeat towards the end of season was what made the difference for me though.

No idea who I'm going with out of these 5, there's an argument for all of them.

I know, there are plenty of reasons for each one of them to be voted. That's why I put them all down and tried to find a reason NOT to vote for them. Spitfire came back with zero.

Wdp, I voted for you because you are the dominant force in England. You have maintained a strong team for a very long time, and that requires experience as well.
