Onderwerp: Euro 2024

Does anyone know much about Elliot Anderson? 35m for a promising youngster.

A home grown talent sold to help satisfy the FFP rules for Newcastle's situation!

Add Aston Villa, Chelsea and Everton into the mix. They think we're all stupid and not realise what they're doing. And FA and Premier League pretend they can't see.

I'm a Newcastle supporter, I'm familiar with him ;)

The general feeling around Newcastle is that he's actually a very good player and we wanted to keep him. He just hasn't progressed though and people were starting to lose patience. FFP has essentially forced our hand into selling people and it was either Minteh and Anderson or Bruno/Isak/Gordon. Put in those terms, it was an easy decision who to sell.
I have to say though, we're gutted to lose Minteh and pretty pissed off because it's Almirons fault. He's refused all offers to move, meaning we had to sell someone else instead. Now I'm hearing today that actually he will be leaving. 24 hours too late.

are you saying he is a 35mil player?

Look at the prices in Prem, Bournemouth paid 25 for Hamed Traore and 27 for Tyler Adams who was then injured for whole season. Brighton got Minteh for 38 and Osman from Nordsjelland for 19. And last season Nottingham paid 35 for Sangare from PSV, even Ipswich bough Hutchinson for 26, the prices just went crazy because everyone has money to spend or they have to buy/spend in proper windows because of the financial regulations.

Anderson was supposed to be a top talent at one point, now Miley seems to be a better prospect but it's not as if Newcastle was selling a made up player for good money... he has over 50 games at Newcastle and if it wasn't for injuries he'd definitely have some more.

Obviously though it was a bit of a two-way money transfer with Vlachodimos going the other way, probably the income going for 23/24 season books and the expenditure going for 24/25 season...

Potentially but not at this moment. I think there's some mutually beneficial accounting going on between Forest and Newcastle. Frankly I don't give a toss with the way the "Big 6" have changed the rules to slow us down.

If that guy wasn't Ronaldo, the crowd would laugh at him. He is a freak show. Embarrassing.

He will probably make me eat my words but the first half he was pathetic with his screaming and gesturing.

I enjoy watching him suffer. After he got injured in the 2016 final I used the picture of him crying as my screensaver. The arrogant, Ronseal coated, cheating little prick. GOAT? He's not even the best Ronaldo!

Second half, same crybaby. The guy took more than 60 free kicks at final tournaments. He scored... 1. Bruno needs to get a pair of balls and tell him to p*** off.

Haha :)

I was always a big fan of the Brazilian Ronaldo. What a player!

Great, now I have to support France :(

Thing is, Portugal would be a wonderful team and a much better one without Ronaldo.

Rice needs to permanently be trained in passing, slick quick, know where your passing as you receive ball, he's not got any forward passing success rate. the amount of passing Stones and Guehi do they need to pass better too instead of back and forth, but for me Rice should coming back in that hole, dictating play, stopping Stones and Guehi having so much ball, not sure his brain is a 100m dmc, seemed great at West Ham, not watched him much at Arsenal, i remember in previous tournaments it was Kalvin Phillips throwing himself everywhere not Rice. I;ve been calling him Pat Rice.
Bench Foden because that's Bells position amc , we all know Foden not best LW
Why no other left back at Euro 24, shaw pointless

These are simple fundamental's don't you agree?
