So what are your predictions for the semi finals?

Here are mine.

France 1 - 2 Spain (Spain look very good and very capable)

England 1 - 1 Netherlands (with England winning on Pens after ET).

I have to back England, regardless of their under-performing so far. I'm hoping they'll build upon the Switzerland game to produce something special (I say optimistically).

Spain and England, if I go by instinct. When I start analysing, it gets complicated...

Spain played well but they were also very lucky not to concede a second. On another day, Mbappe would've feasted on that defence. Tonight he couldn't even make a simple pass. As for Dembele...if he had brains.... In my opinion, the biggest mistake Deschamps made was to start without Griezmann. One of my mates said Barcola should've started too but I think his impact is higher from the bench.

Spain got this, any "big" countries are slide on this tournament like England and France. The final was in quaterfinals Spain vs Germany.

Southgate still useless, despite getting us to the final. He just doesn't have a clue. Yes, I know he's got us to semis and finals and all that but I honestly believe blind Bob who lives up the road to me, would have done the same. Easy route. Well done today, nice first half. Although there probably was a handball from Saka just before Kane made that penalty bringing shot.

That is true, we have had very easy groups and route to the final. I agree with you. I suppose in that sense, we have had lady luck on our side. However, what I was thinking of was more around decisions not going our way (Camus gave some examples). However, maybe I'm being a little negative here and not considered the luck we have had, as you've pointed out. Maybe I have a glass half empty view, rather than half full. Following England over the years has done this to me lol ;)

Come on England. Let's beat Spain in the final and have something to cheer about :)
