It's not even his tactic, it's just the standard 3-5-2 with a changed name, probably doesn't know that he can move the ball to different squares

Got the table updated and ready for the last 2 games.

I may mothball the TLG for next season. Of all the stuff I do on here, this is the most time consuming, the thing that feels most like work and the least fun. I had planned for this to be an ongoing thing but the 90 or so minutes it takes every 3 days can become draining, and having to adjust for subs this season has just added to the time.

Jensen might wish to continue his version.

Well I thank you both for your efforts. You have got me a tad more active this season and studying tactics for like the first time in 10 plus years.

I will do my best. Credit to you though, it was your idea. I still haven't finished my holidays this year, two more to come plus a city break. But I will do my best to stay on top of it. Worst one was during the last holiday when I missed 3 rounds. But I still managed to catch up.

The "good" of the round: Cone 6.50, Anfield 5.58, Warta 4.95 (great win, 2-1 away, from only 2 shots!)
The "bad": Internazionlle -2.07, Beer -1.45.

Anfield is now at more than 8 points away with 1 round to go. I might be subjective, but...
Legia is now in danger of losing the 2nd place if the score are going against them in the last round. Kowal made an impressive jump tp 3rd, less than 5 points behind Legia. Shakespeare might have something to say about the battle for the podium.
Managerless Aubergine seems to be the favourite at winning the 2.03.

Some interesting stuff here.

The almost complete lack of Golds in the bottom half suggests there's a big split in quality tactics.

Aubergine being 2nd. There's no real reason for them to drop either. It's a good formation being used every week and suggests there's a benefit to tactical consistency, even if the players are getting weaker.

Anfield have just walked this season and honestly I'm a little disappointed that no-one stepped up to challenge them. I need to check if they're on for the points record in the final round. 147.15, highly likely to be beaten.

Part of me really wants to help these clubs with good teams and poor formations but at the same time, I'd be cuttting my own legs off. Step it up people and get working on the tactical board!

Only 3 teams managed positive scores in each round: Thamesmead, Anfield and Aubergine. Shakespeare scored their first negative of the season in the last round.
Only Anfield managed more than 2 points in each round. Only Thamesmead managed more than 1 point in each round.

Oakley managed the least positive scores (excluding Polska): only 10.

I had the final table but something has gone wrong, so I'll redo it tomorrow.

We need to look at the results and compare to what number of points have been won on the pitch. Anfield won this competition but on the back of 66 points in the league. Nevertheless, it should be harder to overcome your condition when you dominate the league. So probably credit for actually adding to the tally under the circumstances. On the other hand Legia added more points, 39.67 points, compared to Anfield's 26.01.

I calculated for each team the over/under. But guess what? It tells me that the teams that achieved the most compared with their stats are: Bull and Maidenhead. That tells me that the game needs adjusting and the teams losing games should lose points in this game too. Because, by all means, Bull and Maidenhead haven't achieved anything!

I changed the way I calculate when teams lose at high score difference, so no more big scores for the likes of Bull and Maidenhead only because they have low ratings. In fact, if a team loses at a higher than 4 goals difference will get no bonus from the rating handicap. I consider the once a team loses 5-0, it's like they were walked over and they will get 0 points from the rating handicap.

Example: Maidenhead gets a 35 rating and lost 10-0 against a 55 rating, the 5 points from the rating difference will become 0. From this the goal difference will be deducted too. So their final score would be -2.5. If they had 0 shots, it will stay -2.5. And this way the score will reflect the fact that they've had an awful game. The winning team will lose on the fact that they didn't match the rating handicap with the goal difference but at least the team that lost at such a score difference won't get any advantage.
