That might be a bargain considering the talent graphs the seller put up. Similar players have been selling for 2.6m up.

I've been breaking my drums about the market for old players. But this is another freak show. Millions being paid for some players that are nothing but a lottery. Yet, two magicals being pulled out today are apparently not good enough.

No-one is saying they're not good enough. What I'm saying is that they could be so much better than they are. Beardsley is a near 19 old Magical and yet he has only 5 Pace and Tech combined. I'd be pissed off if I ended up with a player like that.

I agree with you, a magical......in the past I have had a few and they have all be better than a combined 5 pace. They will be talented though and will rise quickly, they also could pop in both skills without training next week.

Tech training for gk.... thats a first

So to be clear. Primary training would be GK, obviously, then pace..Then once they've reached unearthly (maybe even divine) concentrate on passing, then defending and I (me personally) also like all my players to have a decent level of tech. This has included some of my keeper in the past!

Anything other than gk, pace, passing is pointless for goalkeepers

OK, so if you had a keeper who has outstanding tech, pace, passing and GK in average form. Would they perform exactly the same as a keeper who has identical skills but disastrous tech?
