Onderwerp: Season 68
FFS 3 trainees injured tonight and all against an in the corner tactic….how the hell?
Where's that mod to make this one sticky then :P
I kept my trainees well away from match today, played them Fri and Sunday so that if got injured, reduced the odds injury would stop training.

I put it here because it’s season 68 and it’s seriously messed up my plans. :p
Need to finish that Manager Of The Season thing, totally forgot about it.
Scraped through in the Champions Cup 4-3, I did actually hit the post twice. The form of my defenders is really affecting me though as I can't seem to tackle....he did have a fantastic front line though.
Hmm. My fans have decided nothing less than winning the league is good enough for them, miserable gits.
I honestly don’t know what to do this season. Clearly not good enough to make the prem, but safe in II if I churn away, I could go for a new trainee cycle but needs times to buy trainees. Who knows….

If you have the patience and funds, I'd try getting 5 defs 3 mids and 2 atts [depending on budget if you have more money to spend then less defs and more mids/atts, for example 3 defs 4 mids 3 atts] at age 16-17 and just try to create a future team out of them while keeping afloat with oldies.
Buying trainees is frequently a pain in this game if you don't have loads of time. 2 minute extension on transfers one of the more frustrating things of this game as can sit there ages sometimes trying bring players in. Why youths are sometimes better as trainees to remove that element but no guarantee of them coming through.

I support Brokos. For example, in my team, I have 4 experienced players who not only improve the overall quality of the team but also give the younger players time to develop and get better. It's a combination of training and team quality that gives me the chance to progress towards playing in the Premiership.

The guy has experience, just like me :) If you want to train young players and achieve the desired goals, at some point, you have to rely on experienced players. I will gradually sell some of them when I feel that a young player is ready to step up.
An Ebay system would be even worse because of the constant last minute sniping. I've said it before but it should be registered (public) bids, no time limit and the selling club decides when to accept a deal.
That wouldn't work either, such system would be far too easy to take advantage of. You could easily sell players below value and use it to boost your team.
For example:
You ask your friend to create a team, then you buy 10 decent youths for 10m, send them for 1m total to your friends team, he trains them and then sells them back to you for 1m again after season.
You paid 10m for player, now you got them trained up for you and can cash the profit.
And so on.
Current system has its downsides, but it's the best there is. Possible it would be worth adding an "auto-bidder" for plus users.
And if you people don't like how long the bidding takes, well you don't have to big by smallest amount every time, that's a personal choice.
