Yeah guys...Bosbey is great at this and its going up on my club newspaper soon. He is quick with these designs and listens to your input and what you want your shirt to look like.

Thanks again Bosbey, awesome job!

Hi guys!

I'm new here so I thought I might as well introduce myself. I have been playing another football manager for a long time, and still do and enjoy it - but I wanted something that is a little more tactically challenging.

So I'm hoping for a lot of fun here.

Welcome to sokker

ask lots of questions and don't listen to people who use male and female names as a log in.
2011-10-21 20:56:57
and tell all your friends from the other game to join here

Welcome to sokker

As a tutor in the game, feel free to pm me anytime with any questions you have. I would recommend reading the rules thoroughly to help your understanding but asking questions in the newbie forum or messaging me are also good alternatives.

Good luck to you and I hope you stick with it. I used to play hattrick but once I switched over I found this game much more entertaining (once I learned a few things about tactics)

I'll first have to see if I can recommend sokker, but if I can I will. :)

Hi there, thanks for the warm welcome (@everybody).

Yes, Hattrick is where I am still active as well. I'm not likely to give that up anytime soon, and not just because of my community ties.

But I have more than enough time to try sokker out as well, and I don't see it as mutually exclusive. I'll get back to you on your offer on asking questions.

For the first two seasons I'll have a rather laid back approach, trying to build some wealth and infrastructure and getting to know to the game on a tactical level in the meantime.

Slammy's guide thus far has been very useful in avoiding what probably would have been crucial mistakes.

1st rule of sokker: never listen to anything slammmy says
2011-10-22 00:56:57
Well, We call Ht the oHTer game!!^_^

2011-10-22 01:05:07
yikes.
2011-10-22 01:23:48
Isn't that almost a way of honoring it? I mean afterall, there's a lot of soccer manager games out there.

Either way, here's one very quick question: Do training speeds differ by age, or is that factor irrelevant to how fast players train?
(gewijzigd)
2011-10-22 01:38:07
Yes age influence training speed. Pace and Stamina speed is different than other skills, by pace being slightly slowly (you can train up to 22 players), and Stamina being faster (every player will be trained).
Training speed is influenced by your coach as well and the hidden player talent.

Well For my understanding HT was the first game in this genre out there, so yes you can think of it in the Honoring way. (i'm still play that game as well)
