Why SHOULD your fans be happy? I would be thinking "about damn time that idiot manager got us in first place like we should of been all season"

When you are EXPECTED to finish first think of your fans like Yankee fans. Are they happy to just be in first?

What we also need is to be able to schedule more friendly games. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are open. Don't give me that Tuesdays is for Juniors BS either.

Also, I fail to see how you countered my argument from last time. You provided a real life example of Arsenal. What's your point? Last I checked this is a GAME that has nothing to do with reality. If I wanted reality, I wouldn't play this GAME. I guess this makes a me a tool.

You claim you want to "IMPROVE THE GAME," but I see nothing in this thread where you even remotely make a suggestion on how to fix the GAME. So you are just spewing forth shit that YOU think is wrong with the game. If people such as myself do not agree with you, you label them as tools, douchebags, or retards.

If you want a GAME more realistic, why don't you play Football Manager or something. Wait, that costs money while Sokker does not(Plus excluded as you can use many programs now that give you most of the advantages of Plus already). So I really don't see why you are whining about a free GAME that isn't as realistic as you want it to be. No one is forcing you to stay here at all. Just click the little red X in the right hand corner and you never have to return here again if you choose.

I can give you all kinds of real life situations that don't make sense.

Tell me about Football Manager, I don't mind paying. Does it allow you to generate tactics like sokker or somewhat similar.

Is it web based, or is it for a gaming station?

I've, We've, all invested a lot of time in this game, it just seems like it would be easier to improve this game than to have most jump ship to another and then start over?

Now just because you have finally come up with a point that has some weight, not a TON, but maybe some, that is what now tips the scale for you in making your argument for the game not needing improvements, really? I can't think of them off the top of my head right now, but we've offered more than few stupid outcomes with which the game is played.

You are really stretching with the "and another 25% may be upset it took 10 weeks to find first place." Come on for real, while they may be upset that it took 10 weeks for the team to gain 1st again, they are going to wait the ten weeks and then when the team gets back into 1st, that is when they then decide to jump ship? Really, that makes sense to you? There is NO WAY that should be happening. Worst case should be that because of the 10 weeks of gaining back 1st place, He doesn't gain any new fans, but he certainly shouldn't be losing fans, that's an even more moronic outcome that what happened to me when I had the 2 game winning streak and was in third on GD. Just saying.

I don't have that many, only 2075 (supporters), At least I'm not sure how that compares to others in A, but I'm pretty sure it's nowhere near where you guys are in ML.

I think I was thinking of trophymanager.

No doubt I got smoked in the ML last season. Beat Dallas Patriots to get there and probably didn't deserve to beat them. But I got promoted to the ML and that alone should have been a huge thrill for my fans. Got some fans the first 3 weeks, maybe 50 in all, then during the course of the season, lost all of those 50 and probably another 150 or so and have continued losing them this season.

Maybe my beef has less to do the the mood of my fans but just the coming and going of them as fans of my team. I understand if they are a little frustrated, but again I just think that my definition of a fan is very very different than that of the sokker devs. I might be mad as all hell at my favorite team, but that doesn't mean that I am going to stop supporting them.

Maybe the answer is to really slow the rate at which fans might come to a team but then also dramatically reduce the rate at which they leave when their mood is not so great. That is the unrealistic part to me.

OMG let me put it this way. You have obviously NEVER been associated with an avid fanbase.

I am sure you will find fault with this analogy but I will attempt anyway as no real life situation would fit this situation perfectly.

RichRod got fired for IMPROVING the team every year. 7-5 is not acceptable by Meechigan standards, even when we were 5-0 there was just as many(probably more) fans calling for his head as there we supporting him.


edit: Never said the system could not be improved, just think it isn't as bad as you make it out to be
