I'm trying to compete on a high A league/low ML level and would like to get opinions on what semi ideal CB and Wing Backs look like from a stat breakdown at each skill level. It is seeming like to me that they need to be at least unearthly in both pace and defender, but what about the secondary skills? How important are they? Plus I just am not sure it's economically feasable to buy 4-5M defenders across the line that in addition to the unearthly pace and defending, they have formidable or better tech, passing and playmaking. So where should I cut?
Also, since I feel like I give up WAY too many goals from headers on crosses, does the heigth of one's defenders really play a roll as to who wins these headers or does it not matter at all?
Thanks all

id fix the tactic vs spend millions. if i made your tactic with your current squad youd be in the ML
but to answer your question from a personnel standpoint, if you wanted to make sacrifices, VG secondaries and brilliant pace would cut it

I think you'd be okay around unearthly defender and magical+ pace
really depends how you play. The higher pace teams can play up while if your pace is lacking you may hang back a bit more.
Also I would definitely assume height has a factor in winning headers

my 158cm forward scored 40 goals mainly with his head, i wouldnt sweat it too much. and brilliant pace is fine - pace is overrated so long as you know how to make a tactic
