46th ranked USA took on 7th rank France in round 2 of the U21 WC Qualifying.

USA went with a 5-3-2 to hopefully counter the strong French wing attack. Although the USA was strongly out played, 2 goals scored late in both haves by Gould were enough to overcome the one goal France could muster.

USA with 6 points is 2 points clear of 2nd place Viet Nam.

and we did not even play Whitsitt ... .lol

Didn't take to much luck, they only had 1 more shot. All 3 goals were scored on rebounds.
