Onderwerp: Making money via training players

2011-04-06 18:11:17
Pace imo isn't the best to train starting out. Where is he going to get the funds to buy 22 players with a trainable age?

I say keeper because he already starts with a team to play in the outfield, so all he needs to do is buy 2 trainees and then he can train them up and make good money

Hell right now I'm seeing 22 yr old keepers who are like solid pace/incredible keeper sell for like 2.5 million (It's ridiculous considering I got an incredible/incredible for 2 mill not long ago).

If you get any keeper up past incredible his value goes crazy so I'd really recommend that.

He already has a majority of players under 23. In my opinion it would be wasted for him to not train those players that he bought, and because of that I would train pace because in the end that is one of the biggest differences to being able to compete in B league. If he purely wants to make money than training keeper is the fastest way, but if he wants to get his team to B league and compete than he should train his players that he has already bought. Otherwise it would be a waste of all the money he has already spent.

So you can experiment with formations (5-3-2, 3-5-2, 4-4-3) and train all players.

lol I'd definitely like to try this tactic :)) You remember me of one Bulgarian coach - Dimitar Penev, who once set up a tactic with 12 players before a match and when one of the players told him "hey coach, that makes 12 players" he replied "we're here to play, not to count" :)

oh I didn't look to see if he bought new players. Well yea I guess if you already bought a lot of trainees then go for training pace.

I wouldn't worry about what league you're in though. I've been around for ages and I still don't care :)

hahaha that would be awesome to hear that.

you could play a 0-0-1 and have Chuck Norris as your CF...

sorry

oops, my mistake.... *blush*
THIS is what I was trying to convey.
Pace, Tech, and Stamina training allow for formation and positional experimentation without losing training. which can be useful for new AND established teams.
Also, the same can be said if you a keeper trainer. What the 10 outfielders play does not affect training ( or 11 outfielders, assuming you play a 4-4-3 :] )

I've really enjoyed the discussion on this! I probably asked the question a little too late in order to formulate my strategy for this season. I was asking for more of a long term strategy. For now, I have 2 gk, 8 defenders (1 could play mid as well), 4 mids, 3 strikers and 1 that can sub for striker or midfielder. I have 3 players 25 yrs or older, so fortunately, most of my players are trainable. I think for now, I will concentrate on training pace for this season (and stamina the last 2 or 3 weeks) and see how my players improve by the end of the season. Then I'll reevaluate at the beginning of next season. Thanks for all the advice!

IMO I would not train 3 straights week of stamina. maybe 2 weeks first off season or two, then after that one week per off season (just depends on your players)

in case you don't know jwilb: for stamina all your players will pop 1-2 times per session if your coach is unearthly in stamina, for the other skills it's more like once every 3-5 weeks or more.

most take the two weeks between seasons to train stamina. because stamina training is not dependent on the amount a playing time a player receives, and those weeks you don't always have two matches(no relegation or promotion - and the bye week sunday) it allows for maximim player training. training the whole squad instead of only 3ATT, 5MIDS, 5DEF or all 11 with pace.

I knew it happened more often than others but did not know it happened that quickly. Thank you. Sounds like twice in between seasons would be the best time to train stamina then. Thanks.

I never train stamina

because I'm hardcore like that
2011-04-06 23:25:04
and all the while, training keepers you've got crap players all over the pitch. and if you mess up and buy a keeper with low talent, he won't make it. Excellent keeper to Divine keeper in 2 seasons is silly to suggest. even with great talent and double training that would be almost(i dare say completely) impossible.
exc -> form 3
outsd - 3(?)
incred - 4
brill - 4
magical - 5
unearthly - 6
divine - 7
those are VERY aggresive suggestions for a pop schedule. and for you player only playing in friendlies, you can't expect that same schedule. 32 weeks... i dunno...

Talented Keeper trainees will pop every 3 weeks to magical, hence the 19 year old unearthly keepers you see.

for me, stamina training is NOT efficient training, anytime. Of the 22 players on my squad, all but 8 are below Formidable Stamina. So instead of 'training all' I would only be training 8. Pace or Tech training gets more players trained - that is the reason I put the "depends on your players" statement.

while Llama is 'hardcore' and never trains stamina...I guess I am 'softcore'

17/19 of my players are below formidable stamina
The average stamina of my players is adequate
