I beg to differ, and I think fla would be the most able to agree considering I've been working with him for the past 2 seasons and helped get our U21 into the WC (when we probably shouldn't have gotten in on paper)
dinnertime answer ur question up there when I get back

Q: Mr-Llama, are you going to rebuild NT team or going to utilize current old players? So far I see only 1 player from ex Dagwood's U21 team.
For our playing squad I am going to simply use the best 11 players we have, I feel the reason for this is obvious as I want to move us up in rank.
I of course will keep a few other of our best players to fill in if we have form issues or injuries or stuff of that matter
I will however be very proactive about looking for new/younger talent for the team including searching for ex U21 players and keeping tabs on them. Even if they aren't quite ready for play yet I may add them to the team and give them a few minutes here and there in friendlies just to get them experience. I will also look to purchase players I feel we can benefit from in the future, just like I recently bought Buno who is soon going to be one of the best strikers on the team (and I am able to train him exactly as I feel is best for our team)

You can beg to differ, but you've got no real evidence to back up your claims.
"Assisting" fla21667 when he's hands-down the better pure manager doesn't come close to compensating for the fact that your franchise has effectively sucked performance wise for its entire existence.

I say that because it shows I do understand how to compete with better teams. Before each game I would scout the other team and give my assessment of where they were weak and how I thought we should play our team (push the defense up, add a winger, move the strikers back a notch, etc). Fla would then send back his report and it would usually be pretty similar and we would discuss the minor differences. While I physically wasn't managing the team, I would like to think I was getting the experience of managing the team through this tactic of scouting/reporting/discussing.
As for my team yea I know my franchise hasn't done much, but I've also had over 20 million in the bank for a good 5-6 seasons and I never really took the time (plus I'm bad at bidding) to purchase players that are not only good for my team but young enough. For this reason, I have been buying pace trainees at training pace at a young age for the past few seasons. Simply because I can train pace to the whole team and I feel it would be most profitable. It also showed me how bad your team can suck when you have no pace lolol. If I really wanted to promote, I would train something like striker or goalkeeping or something like that, but yeah my 18 yr old weak pace trainees aren't gonna get me anywhere in the league and I know that, but they will increase my bank :)
I'm a businessman. I like money, I like people, I like strategy and I like the USA. I would love to coach the NT and if anything over the past X seasons I've been here you know I'm the most dedicated player to this game (and to the NT) considering I'm on everyday and I would watch every NT game and write up my analysis at the end of each game.

just FYI for everyone, the NT needs a serious rebuild... all of our best former players are now 29+ I didn't rebuild because rebuilding in a WC isn't the greatest thing to do... but there are some nice players coming up and maybe in the next next WC we'll have a better chance... :)

Yes this would definitely be a good time to rebuild and I will actively engage in searching out the best young talent we have. Also I am willing to be dedicated for multiple seasons if necessary so I can build our team to peak during the next world cup
It does take dedication and time and you've proven your dedication as far back as when I coached the NT. For this reason you will have my vote.
I'm going to hope that your experience helping Fla has widdened your horizon as far a matching player skills with tactics. To be a complete coach you need to play against the best teams and you will not gain that experience in the lower leagues. At the top level tactical flaws are exploited to the fullest. You will learn more and be a more accomplished coach if you apply yourself to winning and promoting. You are a good manager and you are meeting your goals (money), but if you applied the same dedication to building a team and winning the ML you would have a more complete experience.
I would even be one of your supporters. Good luck with the NT, you are the right coach for the moment.

That is what I expect to see - more Dagwood's U21 players not only 3
Most players don't make it to the NT until age 26 or so. Doesn't seem so off base to me, I do expect to see more and more added in the upcoming seasons.
Very true, though I feel this season will definitely be a good one to start looking at those players, maybe snatching a few up while they're a bit young
