It looks like it's going to be a pretty good game. Due to some injuries from our older players I talked to the honduras coach and he happily agreed to play U25 only.

Going with the typical 2-5-3 formation since we need to make up the goal differential

and yeah 2-5-3, It's not my tactic but I found it already in the tactic pool so I'm guessing it's legit. Was it there when you were coach lakay? Any thoughts on how well it worked? I'm hoping to win about 6-0 to make up for that belgium game

So I don't think we can miss more 1 on 1 chances...

Though the most upsetting moment was in the 20th minute when he had a 3 vs keeper and dribbled the ball right into his hands....

Despite a few 1 on 1s, I think we should have been able to generate more scoring chances. Also, maybe Thorne was a bit too high up? I think he touched the ball like 3 times, made a total of one passes. Most of the passes to him never got to him, always went out.

Yikes, nice we won, but this is not a win that will help our ranking.

thorne touched the ball like 15 times, the problem was they played 6 defenders so it was a bit difficult to find any room around them.

I wanted him there though for times like the 20th minute when he broke through, unfortunately he was a retard and couldn't pass the ball to the 2 open strikers...

I just realized this....

Why the hell would you agree to play a game with age restrictions when it has qualification importance? ONLY in a friendly should you make any agreements, and only with stronger or weaker nations. Never in a match where goal differential should matter. Big mistake.

Ok thanks for clarifying that we did not use a U25 only lineup. Again the win is good, but the GD is a concern.

You need to get a big win vs Macedonia, second place should not be an issue, but stranger things have happened.

Yeah it should be a challenge but definitely possible for us.

Note: Moldova lost 5-1 today to belgium as well, so that should help a little. If honduras can keep the GD low in their game it will be closer.
