- I've been playing this game a long time.
- Chill Chill used to be "Purple Lazers".
- We used to give our players silly nicknames.

The day I almost knocked Slammmy out of the cup...playing with only 10 players all the way through overtime thanks to a red card 42 minutes in. :(



Hattrick: 4-12-2007 Llama-FC - Sires 2 - 0 I matched up against my brother in the cup (there are a lot more users over there so chances of it happening were very slim) and ended up beating him. Best memory there

i was watching that game live in my college dorm with pwn and visionFCmetros. when that BS deflection goal happened late game i literally flung my arms so hard back/up in the air that my roller chair swung out beneath me and i crashed backward onto the floor and did a complete backward flip/roll rofl

Is there a money prize if you win the US Open? Just curious as to what you get other than a stadium full of fans.

Just put your ticket prices up to $50 a ticket and enjoy the nice bonus :P

if slammmy could give some insight into this though, have you ever adjusted your ticket price quite high in those final games of the cup and do people still show up?

i would but it is rare that i would get a home match ever

its not as big of a boost to the crowd that you are thinking, if it was me vs dag i dont think we could fill up much more than ~600k worth of tickets total, which isnt much more than we would get in an ML game vs eachother

I remember when I was in C league and Slammy was Fro and won the ML and jons team was getting the best ratings in all of A league and everybody knew because jon would tell everybody in between chuck norris jokes and showing off his prized trainee "jarhead".

I also was watching this match live but it was with my Polish Post-Doc in the research lab (His team is UT Dabram) at the university. I eventually signed on with my team but the good ole days were great. I was scared of Legend at the time.
