This game is so f'd up, the new ME just is random. We might as well just flip coins before each game. Results will be probably just as likely. I am so pissed I renewed my plus, this game is done as being anything but an arcade game.

I cannot possibly ever see my supports above furious if I keep getting screwed (wait did I just vent again?)

It is doubly frustrating since I have to watch the same shit for the U21. 2 goals in 5 games for them (of course only given up 2).

idk man, I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Things that need change
1. Strikers do not work to get onsides. I had 19 offsides in my game today and 3/4 of them were my strikers just standing a notch beyond the defense and not caring.
2. wingers need to take the ball further down EVERYTIME they have space open. still too many backpasses and stuff there
3. still some acceleration issues and speed issues. When my superdivine pace guys finally accelerate, they are untouchable, but if they choose to not accelerate then they run slow for like 5 seconds and suck.
4. couple other minor things

But I like the new ME a lot. More realistic. Just have to spend time figuring out tactics again

I don't really find it more realistic llama. I just don't. All the red cards I keep getting aside, the way certain things work (or should I say don't work) are not real. 6 breakaways in my game yesterday, by both teams, not one goal. Maybe not unrealistic, but when it keeps happening each match, it tells me the strikers have been reduced in value vs keepers.

I honestly fear I will end up in B league because the ME will probably F me in the qualifier, despite me being better rated than probably half the teams in A league. Hell I am better than all but 3 in my own league, and I keep losing because of:

1. The ME change first occurred when I play a MUCH weaker team that was down to 9 men. Hello? How do you clowns developing this game change things in the middle of a season?
2. I have taken reds in the first half of the last 2 matches
3. It is apparently unrealistic to score on breakaways

I think you are just unlucky

I'm on the staff so I know all the tweaks and the # of red cards and injuries actually dropped a lot...I haven't seen any red cards since the change (when I used to see at least 1 a week) and the injuries have been a lot lower as well from my experience.

Also, you are correct in thinking that strikers have been reduced in value vs keepers. This is an ongoing discussion and something that we are looking into because we don't want games that are 7-5 because every shot within 25 yards goes in, but we still want 1 on 1s and pks to count. The real dilemma is that greg is worried the game will become boring if you only score on 1on1s. He wants there to be more hope that if you don't get 1 on 1s, you can still win by some great headers or working the ball in close for a shot. Personally I think a 1 on 1 should score a little more as well but then again my team hasn't shown too much difficulty in the 1 on 1 situation so once again I think you have just gotten unlucky.

If you watch the Italy vs ...belgium...? game that mario posted in the USA association forum, belgia wins 3-0 despite only having 4 shots to 24 of italy. That being said, if you watch the game you'll see italy has 24 shots all outside of the box basically while belgia has 4 1 on 1 chances and makes 3 of them. And belgia did deserve to win, even many italian managers agreed.

I had 7 shots yesterday

about 3-4 were pretty close

2 of those went in

my opponent had 2 close

1 of his went in



So far everything seems to be straight up for me.
