So one week after a transfer, I get this notice:
Hello,
You are receiving a Transfer Price Adjustment (TPA) for the transfer of player (Terry Stottlemyre [26995050]).
It has been determined that the sale price of this player was much higher than the market would normally dictate.
In order to be fair to other users, this TPA has been made to bring the sale to a more appropriate price.
This TPA was therefore not a punishment, but was an attempt to ensure fairness in the game.
In the future, please know that it is your responsibility to report unfair transfer prices as a part of the Fair Play rules.

Of course I just bought a new player and now I am going bankrupt. .... this, I am done, I made 2 transfers based on this. I'm done. .... SOCCER, I might as well just go by EA soccer and put in on autoplay, it looks better and is realistics, and a bunch of pricks don't try and ruin the game.
To those of you I have dealt with over the years good, luck. I am letting the team go bankrupt and yet another BOT in A league.

Wow, regulated free market. It smells like socialism.
Thats ridiculous. If people bid and make the market price then let it be.
We all see transfers on guys less than 18, which result in huge transfers because the dream, potential and training is all there.

I had the same thing happen to me a year ago or so. I sold a player for like 3 million and they adjusted it to well below that. Fortunately I have a big bank so it didn't affect me like you, but now it's retarded that you are bankrupt because they were too late to act on fixing the transfer...
No interest in posting something to an admin to reverse the two purchases?
That's not cool at all! That is how we survive and how we try to compete.
that sucks, but did you even ask an admin about it like jonandabby said?
That's lame! The "market" is what people are willing to pay....if someone opted to pay the price, then that is the current potential market value of that player. What bs
He didn't go bankrupt. Wonder if they DID fix it.
No, they fixed nothing. Mario.t calmed me down a bit. He tried to contact the admins, they apparently ignored it, to no surprise. I have put too much into this game and I have decided just to train players, probably won't ever make a new tactic, just use old ones.
The makers of this game are arrogant assholes who could be making a lot more money.
I ended up selling a player I didn't want to, or need to sell. I put him up 1 day before bankruptcy and then I waited until he would have sold. If I got back in I stay, if not, I was gone.
I have no real problem with them "fixing" a transfer, but why did it take a week and why did it force me into bankruptcy? I could see them taking all my money, but to force me out of the game? Again arrogant assholes who do not understand it is harder to get and keep a new client, than it is to keep one who is actually PAYING.

I'm selling all of my players and just will be on survival mode until I get back in to enjoying this game... The process has started.

I'm doing the same, I might try to get 22 young americans and train pace for a while, just leave it on autopilot until they fix it, if they do.

I think I'm throwing in the towel formally this season - my ONLY remaining starting caliber player (the superdivine x2 goalie) went down in the 89th minute for 3 weeks. Going to get my 24 year old trainee pops in PM and/or tech, and off he goes.
prices are way down, I barely broke even on two players I trained for multiple seasons and lost a lot of money on a guy I bought just before the recent changes.
The market is broken. Fewer managers coming in, means not enough bidding pressure on players on the market.
