Do any of you play fifa 09?

I play fifa 08 on ps2. hahahaha. wigan athletic are the champions.

Yeah, i've been playing fifa09 (PS3) and it would be interesting to play against people here :)

I play fifa 07 and 09 ;) Im badass in both haha I remember when i would play fifa 07 online for like the first time ever and i would beat the top guys playing online and they'd be like "dude your good for playing like your 5th game online" haha

I dont play fifa 09 online yet... i only played 07 the past 2 years... i'll try it out though, thats when i have time of course... and im on a PS2

I used to play it all the time, but have since switched to PES Winning 11 (2009). The game plays much better. FIFA has a tendency to let the computer take over.

I've been playing it on the Wii, and it's pretty fun. I think the "all play" mode is unique to Wii, and helps my kids out a bit. I was hoping to get my 8 year old hooked on it, so he would want to watch EPL and Champions League soccer on TV with me. It totally worked. I can't tell you how awesome it is to have your kid ask you on Saturday morning," Dad is Stevie G playing today?"

I think playing fifa09 is going to help him conceptualize space, passing, etc when he plays in real life. We'll see in a month or so.

One thing I hate about the game play is the automatic switching of the active player. When the opposing team is on a breakaway the auto switch seems to go to the defender with the worst angle to intercept. Grrrrr. That's being a little picky I guess.

I hated that in 08. It switched to a guy who had a somewhat better angle to intercept, instead of the player that I had chaising from behind the person on the ball... but I would never notice the switch until I had that player running away from the ball thus losing my slight advantage for an intercept.
