By the way i'm italian and "my Team" is Juventus. Not really good time for us nowdays (years).

I got in a little late on this, but I became a Manchester United fan 2 years after they won the treble. I've been following them closely ever since then.

I started following Newcastle years ago . . . god damn it!

I've been a Man United fan since I first saw Giggs play on tv in 91 or 92 I think. He was only like a year older than me at the time, I think he was 17, or even maybe 16, and playing like a grown-ass man. He was amazing when he was a kid, still a great player now, but when he had his young legs he was like some kind of elemental force.

Ever since then I've been following Man U. The team they had in 98 or 99 with Yorke and Cole up top with that amazing midfield was probably the most entertaining team I've ever seen play (up until the current Barca squad), so much chemistry.

Living in the states it's hard to follow any but the big clubs, Barcelona, Man United etc... Just because you can't see any of the other teams with any regularity on TV. Although it's better now than in the 90's with 2 or 3 dedicated soccer channels available. Before there weren't any, and you just had to wait for the sniff you'd get once or twice a year from the networks or BSPN.

Since 95: Ajax ... until 96
Since 96: Juventus ... until 2008
Since 2008: Manchester United
