The best time to visit is November-March, when temperatures are at their mildest. Humidity, however, is very high along the coast. October and April are tolerable but very hot. Don't even think about going July-September, when the country is hottest, though the humidity lessens a bit then. A dust-laden wind, the shamal, blows March-August.
