700k € is still a decent amount of money for me. :)

I'm not convinced he'll go for anywhere near that.

I paid under €300k for a 17yo with formidable def and good pace/ave tech.

I guess you are right.....I bought an outstanding midfielder with nice secundaries for 700k, but that's a midfielder and defs should go for a little bit more. Anyway, I'm starting to get sloppy on my valuations. The market is changing rapidly though....

If anything, the defs market is in a slump at the moment. I'd say €400k tops.

I agree, the market prices are very unstable at the end of the season...

I sold this guy for about £350k (about 2.1 mil zlotes I guess) so he would probably go for around that.

If I was you I'd train him as a midfielder in pace/defender/technique/passing over 4 seasons or so. When he's very good+ all round he'll be a complete midfielder and you'll get a fortune for him. It's worth it if he is v talented, but you've got to be v v patient doing this ;)

Otherwise I'd screw training anything else and cut my lossess at the start of the new season and sell him when everyone has their bonus money. He needs a lot of training, and you wont get an awful lot for him.
