Well, it's the first season of the 200 million. If Real acts smart as Abramovich did, it will let its project develop over the years, with slow adjustments in the squad after the initial huge investment. They can still build a winning team on the basis of these players.
However, if Real repeats past stupidities (i.e., another spending-firing spree in the summer to feed fresh meat to the media), they will continue to be the newbie team-wannabes in Europe.

I think that this team is just under such a pressure that they can' t cope with. It isn' t seen in any other club in the world. Barcelona? They have won everything last year, they can catch their breath. Manchester United? I can' t count their succeses during last decade. AC Milan? Almost everybody blames Berlusconi. Inter? In Italy they continue the hegemony.

Real Madrid is under the biggest pressure, because they can' t win any trophy. The second is Liverpool, then Chelsea, Arsenal... But nothing compares to pressure at Real Madrid.
