Talking about Serie A, AC Milan and AS Roma last season were awful and now don't want to spend in player market, so their level can't be that high (Kakà left and Totti is turning 50 yo).. i'd say that right now Milan and Roma are at the same level of Genoa and Fiorentina: can't win in europe...
on the other hand Inter and Juve (excepting Ibra) are buying lot of 1st class players like Eto'o, Milito, Lucio, Diego, Melo and (lol) Cannavaro.. and i believe that with some luck both can reach semifinals of CL.

AS Roma maybe doesn't have superstar but they can play football.

They didnt qualify for CL and they probably won´t to do this year.
