USA, spain, algeria arent bad teams, they are among the nowadays best teams in the world, ( i mean..thay are in the WC) but they are far away to have an outstanding performance. Spain needs something very important to win and that is IDENTITY. The luck of empathy between spain provinces (they all hate cataluña, "galicia is not spain", the basques are a mistery, the canaries islands are really away from mother spain, etc) makes spain a country without a true winning blood. They are still too individualists, selfish.

USA is playing a starnge football, too nahive, too childish, women play better football than boys over there.
Algeria is growing but thay are far away from winning, even the group.

for last my opinion on my country:
Uruguay population is 3 million, the number of uruguayan players that made history in the most powerfull clubs during the football history and the 2 WC we won are things that a few countris can beat or repeat. Im reading here comments from several countries, many are serious, many i share and many I dont, but never give us for dead. Hope is the last thing we loose and mathematically we still have chances (thats our most repeated phrase)

But, even if they do, people saying Argentina won't play defensive haven't seen much of Argentina lately. Maradona will just try to revive Bilardos's 1990 World Cup :P

Netherlands-Argentina is rather unlikely to be the final, but I hope just that a team that plays great football wins, not with some counterattacks, but more of a possession football, like Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands. Those who deserve their win.

In your opinion defensive teams don't deserve to win? Italy 2006 was the best team at that World Cup, do you really think that they didn't deserve to win? :)

Italy has great players, but I hate their tactics. In 2006 in my opinion Germany deserved the win most. In the semis they were much better than Italy just unlucky. Italy is a team who usually doesn't have much chances, but they score with their one 100% chance. In 2008 Euros when they played against Spain, they were much weaker team, only 1 chance to score had, Casillas made an excellent save. At the same time Spain only attacked, but just it's very hard to score against such defense, 9 men were in their own half. Yesterday's Inter win was also undeserved. They were just at Nou Camp to hold the score. They parked the bus in front of the goal, so it was hard basically impossible for Barcelona to break through. They held ball and only attacked, created chances, but it's so hard to score against such wall, so Barca who is much better team in my opinion but they are out of UCL.. A team who has most more chance and holds the ball, deserves the win more than the one, who just stays back, and hope on counter attacks. This tactics is suitable for only weaker teams.
