I just stated he WILL transfer. As they are very close to sealing the deal, but there was no clue for the public how much MU will play.

You've said 'paid' :-).

And back then it was still just a rumour...like about RvP going to Juve/City, Dzeko going to Juve, Llorente going to Juve etc.

maybe he fails his medical due to 'low form' :P

Brilliant player but.. I'd rather take another midfielder or defender than striker.. But I guess sir Alex knows better. Anyway, now would be good time to put Rooney to midfield.

IMO the only better transfer that SAF could've made was getting Sneijder to strenghten the creativity in midfield

I would really enjoy it if Arsenal would win this season and RvP still has zero prices.

me too...with Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski it can be possible :) and someone will come for sure...
(gewijzigd)

Be realistic. You've mentioned three players who have 0 games in Premier League so far and haven't even played a single game together, even a friendly. Giroud can be another Chamakh imho and Podolski? He was never a top player at club level, his best performances were always in NT, that's why Bayern got rid of him.
2012-08-16 11:41:18
you have to be expert again, omg :P I know its like that, I only hope its be like that...they are good team but with lack of experience and not fullfilling their potential...

Yes they did. For instance take Arsenal-Koln

Assist by Cazorla, 2 goals by Podolski :)

that's not true: he was absolutely top player in köln. in bayern he was out of luck.

Friendly against 2nd Bundesliga team, how amazing :-) doesn't change a lot imho :)
2012-08-16 13:19:00
honestly? I don't think that you can be a top player in a team like Koln. In the same way I don't think that Giovinco is a top level player, even though he had a great season in Parma [15 goals, 11 assists].

To prove as top player you have to at least fight for championship and take part in european cups.

van Persie and Rooney together is like a dream team, bit unfair on Welbeck mind.

Podolski with 2 goals against Koln? Can't really judge a whole Premier League season on a friendly like that, he'll be a good player, but I doubt he'll be scoring many.

The chances of Giroud becoming another Chamakh are slightly limited, but still possible.
