no, they even proposed him to stay until WC :) But its not this coach fault, rather previous one that ran off to Russia :p Na, kidding, dunno what it is, probably they simply cant focus on 'weaker' or 'equal' teams ...
Our coach said this Euro qualification was not a failure. If finishing third is not a failure, I don't know what is.

I dont understand. you say ,you should quailfy because turkey is not strong. but you cant defeat turkey in both matches. this is a dillema. :)
got some bad luck in turkiye and in the home game we missed a penalty :p
Think giving the goals away home against Austria, losing 2-3 in 89h minute to draw 4-4 in 93th and stupid draw against azerbaycan are way worse though :) On the other hand Turkiye scored its winning goal with a deflected freekick in the 96th minute against them ... :p

That means nothing. In the 2010 WC qualifiers Hungary won and played a draw against Denmark, but still Denmark was the first in the group and Hungary was the 4th...
Just sayin', we should have been qualified for a long time...
Turkye is weak, they will play no role on the next EURO, if they even manage to get there.
