Onderwerp: [GD] Injuries

Your problem was with losing training, not losing a player for games

He loses as much training as before, 1/week, so if anything it's better in this case for you, because the length of injuries was a bit shortened

It doesn't matter if you play at your stadium if you play against a team with 30 rating and players with bad defender skill
2023-12-17 17:11:36
I know that influences things, but to be honest...it shouldn't be like that.
People always play friendlies for training, not for results, so the impact of playing against very weak teams with very good players shouldn't be an increase of injuries.

I agree that it’s not a good idea, but that’s how it Works.

On the other hand it is kind of logical, imagine top dribblers liku Doku or Mitoma playing against 4th league butchers with hopeless defending skill :p

Please...every defender is hopeless against Doku :-p

If you like loads of injuries then please please make games earlier so users get a chance to train 10 players not 9 !!! happened to me so many times, i cant remember to watch a game before bed

MAKE GAMES EARLIER OR SCRAP THE HIGH RATE OF INJURIES!

Devs do you understand most people are very tired or having bath or watching TV with wife or g/f, 8.30 -9pm is too late, 7pm kick off should be the latest in every country, earlier the better, earlier does not affect training because of the high rate of injures, you have an hour to remember to watch your game, [nowhere near enough] I've been playing this 17 years and forget as frequently as ever before

I've seen a silly amount of straight red cards ruining matches many times a season.

If anybody disagrees with this I'll be shocked

I think it would be nice if countries could nominate/elect a time slot that best suits that community but there’s obviously going to be issues with number of matches being played at certain times due to the heavy European player base so I’m not sure how fruitful that would turn out. Suspect that’s one of the reasons why your games are so late in UK as you have all the other European games to process before yours.

That being said my games here are 9:30 at night for league/cup matches (fluctuates with d/s both northern and southern hemispheres where it can swing 2 hours so I have games at 7:30 half the year and 9:30 the rest well for my time zone at least, gets messier if you start dealing with time zones). However, I will add that I like the later times for matches for my situation (which may shock you :p). I do realise it’s not the same for all and hence why I suggested the above but it’s all probably worthless anyway when only so many games can be processed at a time anyway.

We only have 99 users [which Is more like 79] why punish us further?

Liking your games late means nothing, as it does not matter if it's earlier the games still there later

Just put them all on in the morning then, it does not matter watching so called live there's nothing to do

You get people putting kids to bed and family and work , to give only an hour or 2 time slot for people to remember, now it did not matter in the old format as Injuries were not so prevalent
To a certain degree, the game is now unfair
Unfair to
Older more tired at night users
Late workers
Night workers
Big families
Girlfriends to please

fair to
People who have none of the above

I'm dead to the world by 9pm, so if i don't remember to watch in the 30 minutes before then more often than not i loose a player to injury

Just put them all on in the morning then

the servers already often have problems with generating the games when they are stretched for around 14 hours during the day, imagine what happens when they start generating all of them at same/similar time

I agree though, that the games should start around 6-7 pm local time

on the other hand... it's not that important training-wise since it only makes sense to have only 10 trainable youths in the team anyway...

i've had 2 injured before only trained 8
and about 9 times one injury meaning I only trained 9 x 9

So I agreed with your suggestion/thought but you decide you want to lecture me on why your life is more important than mine?

My preferences matter as much as yours. If I have an earlier match I then run the risk of not being able to set a lineup if I’ve had an overseas match the day before with players as they might get injured (so nt match, champions cup match). I also run the risk of missing putting a player who was SI into a lineup if they recover on that day. We have to wait for daily updates here which takes the game down an hour. I also have life commitments like work/sleep etc just like yourself so I really don’t see a difference here other than my issue occurs the other side of the game to yourself. Yours is after, mine is before. Can you not see this?

None of those things you claim as unfair come close to having no access to the transfer market. Transfer list being only accessible in stupid hours here essentially keeps us from competing on that market. That’s not a choice I’ve made, that’s a game constraint due to majority of users in Europe.

Whether you agree or not that’s irrelevant. I actually agreed it would be useful for match times to be when the majority of the community wants it and an elected time would be fairest for the greater number. I also explained why you have late games and why it might be problematic to get a time slot you preferred. I still agree that in your situation an earlier game would be beneficial, I’ve never suggested anything else.

I mostly just provided my side since you doubted anyone would have a different opinion as a way of everyone is going to have different viewpoints on it.

Edit: If you’re still unconvinced, you can’t move my game too much earlier anyway, would get perilously close to daily updates which takes time and can have issues causing sokker to be inaccessible until that gets resolved (which is super early European time so often isn’t caught and fixed for hours).

Again that's your issue and not a problem of the game, set your team up the day before!

After thought, I've set an alarm for after my bath to check injuries

so that's ok
I'll ruin the watching from time to time as main page tells you win lose draw and other page shows ranking points go up or down, so you have to be ultra silly careful like put arm up so can't see top of screen haha, they do make it hard for us

Yet again you fail to understand the point. I can set a lineup the day before, that’s not the issue. Fails to work if I get an injury overnight on Saturday/Thursday or a SI player doesn’t recover in time. I’d have to gamble. I also could have a scenario where I’ve gone a certain way for the week to get training and then due to injuries/or not healing in time I also miss out on training possibilities/switching just like your scenario.

I could make the same statement to yourself, have all your trainees trained earlier in the week and use wednesdays game as just those who aren’t getting advanced training then. Then it’s not an issue on Thursday as formation training doesn’t really give a lot. It’s a cheap argument but since all you’re doing is cheap arguments it’s valid. I mean when you only train 10 if a player gets injured during a match before training you can’t do much anyway.

I get injury after injury after injury, England won't ever be any good too many injuries
2024-02-09 19:37:58
You'll have to log in Friday night or Saturday's, and then Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night, then you won't have any problems, you remember to debate with me lol ;)

Same thing applies to any NT coach of Asia/Australia&Oceania NT's. Assuming team plays their match at home, You need to wake up before such match (8:59 server time) to verify if any player in American timezone got injured. So it's a battle between English mans who need to stay till 10pm against others who either need to wake up at 8am server time or stay around 1-2am on Sunday to buy some players. Both options sounds bad to me :<
