Onderwerp: [idea] STOP Forwards ATT from trying to dribble the GK

I had a lot of situations in which my ATT was 1 on 1 with the GK with no DEF close to him and the f... freaking ATT runs straight into the GK, after a 10 ...15 meters run! Just f... friendly SHOOT from a distance already! For f... fun sake! :-))
ATT 13 Pace, 12 Tech, 16 Att, Pm 10, Def 7, Stamina 9, Passing 6 ... so not really bad!
I can still hear the fans screaming "SHOOT already, you funker! That's not your mother you're shooting at!" :-))

My opinion regarding this is, that higher and better the player, better decision making should apply. If you have a world class striker then, he should either dribble the goal and walk with the ball inside goals or shoot when it's the best moment etc... obviously decision making should be greater when a player is a world class player. (maybe playmaking and experience) should be the skills to take into account.

If they just run into the goal 10/10 times then i would vot yes, if a striker is able to dribble successfully the GK and score or take a better decision then i'd vote No. Atm i won't vote as it's not lear how it works.

I also don't know exactly how it works and it makes sense what you are saying but I have to say that I have never seen a Forward dribble the Goalkeeper and walk with the ball into the Goal! I have seen goals from 40 meters away though...

yes! There are succesiful dribbles and goals!
YES! 1v1 and penalties in sokker suck hard.

You have to take into account that there are a lot more 1v1 in sokker than in real football. You cant make them score every time and have realistic results.

I have in medium five 1v1 against each game... scoring in medium 1 goal from them.
When i see striker is having the opportunity to rush into keeper, i prefer him to shot from outside the box area => more chances to score.

So every game should result in at least 4-5 goals for your team?

i saw many times this position in my team and NT team. Stupid strikers run to gk...

How is it my fault that there are more 1v1 in sokker than in real life?!
Why should I put up with such nonsense of seeing the Attacker run into the GK?! It's just frustrating heaving to witness such a dumb thing!
When does it ever happen in real life such a stupid thing.... seriously, run straight to the GK like you wanna hug him?!
I would rather have 1.. situation of 1v1 every other game and SCORE from it, than have 3 per game and run into the GK all 3 times.... it is just crazy!
And every game I have at least double the shots than the opponent and I still draw or even loose sometimes...
I hope it gets improved!

I never told it is anybodies fault? Just dont expect a real sim from a close to 20 years old browser game. And dont expect that devs can fix it because they most probably cant and any attempt is more likely to result in failure and an even worse ME.

The situation you describe happened 1 time in your last league game, every other time like you want att shot the ball. Bigger issue I saw was that any half competent player should be able to take a corner kick without ball going out of bounds instantly.

I think it could be fixed... the corner kick thing, also...

Or a defender, without any player close, just running over the back line :)

i think even more annoying is striker is with ball no one around him instead of advancing he shots from far away
or another one i had it today striker is one one with the goalie nad he passes back almost to center ...
in those cases i prefer he to run over the goalie :)

I was when devs announced planned development and reforms. After seeing how implementation of changes goes so far I hope they don't touch ME for some time yet :) ME now is far from perfect but it is best there is and it is the same for everyone either way.
