Onderwerp: Stadium Build Ratios?

2007-12-05 12:47:06
Why did you need someone with a roof? Do you expect people to not believe you now if you tell them?
2007-12-05 12:50:08
I no longer have the announcement from the club page from my last home game but I have done some figures for you and used my last weeks income.

Here is how many watched my last home game from each section and the price of tickets.

along the lines - seats under cover: 12495*£5.25=£65,598.75
behind the goal - seats under cover: 14751*£4.50=£66,379.50
behind the goal - benches: 3500*£3.75=£13,125

total spectators = 30,746
total ticket income = £145,103.25
income from a friendly in the same week=£9158

and from my economy page from last week:
from tickets: 154 261 £

he needed someone with a roof to confirm it for himself, not to convince others.
2007-12-05 12:53:07
check this: it´s in the rules:

Stand along line behind goal
Standing places 2.00 € 2.00 €
Standing places under roof 2.00 € 2.00 €
Terraces 4.00 € 4.00 €
Terraces under roof 5.00 € 5.00 €
Benches 6.25 € 6.25 €
Benches under roof 7.50 € 6.25 €
Seats 7.50 € 6.25 €
Seats under roof 8.75 € 7.50 €

along the line matters also for seats without roofs...

if you are happy with second hand knowledge, and you have got a question, you can always ask me. ;)

he needed someone with a roof to confirm it for himself, not to convince others.

But why would he not believe someone like Naughty when he says it is so?

If I want information on GK training, I don't need a GK trainer to tell me it.
2007-12-05 13:05:39
If someone told you it wouldnt hurt if you jumped off a 200ft cliff, would you believe them and jump off ?

ok, not the same thing really but some ppl would just prefer to hear a 2nd opinion or see some sort of proof to go along with the statement.
Nothing wrong with that at all.
2007-12-05 13:10:35
Naughty's was the second opinion. Mariokles stated it first.

Seriously, if a relative newbie isn't going to believe those two, then who is he going to believe? And what if I'd said "It's definitely 6 along the sides and 2 behind"? I have a roof.
2007-12-05 13:14:03
this whole roof-thing just shows, how much to give about this.
i wondered plenty of times, how much some newer managers "contribute" to this game, not even having read AND understood the rules ...
2007-12-05 13:15:11
Come on guys, it's getting very weird.
@Sgt Podge: if he wanted a second and third opinion he got them and not all the people believe just statements that come from older players. Acting like Thomas the Unbeliever sometimes helps
2007-12-05 13:16:10
That's partly my point. Just because someone with a roof says something is true, doesn't necessarily make it true. I'd rather take the info from a respected forum user than some random guy who's pretending to know. You, mariokles, and Naughty (amongst others) fall into that category.
2007-12-05 13:17:56
But it's not like this is something on the edges of what is known. I was Thomas the Unbeliever about "random" training of GK skill until I got a random pop in it myself. At this time, a lot of users didn't believe it happened, so would be what I consider to be on the edge of the knowledge available (at that time). Corners being behind the goal has been known for a long, long time.
2007-12-05 13:18:38
let them believe, what they want.

personally i would not believe naughty;-) not even buying a striker trainee from him ...
2007-12-05 13:19:40
:))) You little .... You bought players from me and they were like I stated :P Stop blaming me for your poor training skills :P
2007-12-05 13:20:36
It's true... I also got 3 pops in GK and it's a fact, however rare. About believing again, I don't worry much about non-believers :P
2007-12-05 13:21:04
ok, not the same thing really but some ppl would just prefer to hear a 2nd opinion or see some sort of proof to go along with the statement.

Also, someone who you would consider a "respected forum user", others may not.

I'd rather take the info from a respected forum user than some random guy who's pretending to know.

As for that statement, i'm not sure if that was aimed at me but if it was, LOL
