OK.
I messed a bit with the *lng files for Polish.
Now I have all text with Polish chars, displayed properly. ALMOST to be honest.
Why is encoding for player names used in that window (where you can choose your team using their best positions) different than on main screen?
On mainscreen thay are displayed properly, while on the traning screen this is totally wrong.

PS. Just noticed: History page is also wrong displayed :|
Training page: left (stamina/goalkeeping/etc) are correctlydisplayed, while on right, wage/value - are wrongly displayed.
Junior names (in Juniors) and team names (in Matches) are OK.

Same for me, about the player names.
I think they're originaly created with no encoding at all. But I'm not sure.

Why do you want convert something ?
Aren't you using English as Language ?
Who is using English doesn't need convert nothing, only copy your old files from England to new_England.
As far as I can see, you are from USA, right!?

I didn't try to convert anything. I unzipped the file, put 5.0 in the main directory, put the language files in the new_England directory, and got that error. (I also put on a new serial, but that didn't help).

extract files from sokkermon5.zip to new dir.
copy serial.txt to new dir
start sokkermon5.

i have done those steps and when i click sokkermon5.exe appears an error "file not found".
sokkermon runs but i can't download and another message appears " Access violation at address ... in module sokkermon5.exe..."

what is happening ????

I make a fresh instal of SM 5.0 (i receive my team yesterday).
I put in directory the serial, ok, i selected English Lang and Romanian HTML, put my pssw and username, push download.
But right after i see login screen in left, with field completed, i see an internet explorer error page and soon after ,the message , "you have to be login to see this page".
I checked a hudred times my password and name, shure not this is the problem.
I want to see my players in program, please!
